Where is it going to be. Anyone got a physical address? Did I even hear it right that it is going to be down there?

The show this weekend is put on by "Gun Shows of the Rockies". Not familiar with them. Are they worth the price of a ticket?

I think it is right around the area of the horse track out near Aurora Reservoir?

On the north side of Quincy is a bunch of old missile silos :D

One reason I'm going, to see if the silos are accesssible ... just for viewing...

Ridge

Apparently at one point in time you COULD get into them...but since Aurora has claimed the area for multi-use development, they've fenced up the place and sealed the entrances to the facility...

Anyone went to the Arapahoe show this morning? Anything worth looking, or was it the typical overpriced show?

I just got back. Same vendors as always that show up at the crossroads and Tanner. Nothing new, prices where reasonable to high.....NO ONE buying anything! From the entire day I maybe saw 5 pistols sold and a few boxes of ammo here and there.

Agreed. $10 door entry? ouch. Same people same prices. Not many reasonable deals that I saw anywhere...

Way to far out for me. Way to expensive to get in. Everything way to high for sale. Gouging going on. Its like the people there don't want to sale their stuff. Maybe they are collectors and just want to show off what they have because their prices don't/didn't reflect the need to move their inventory.

Actually, I rather enjoyed this one over the last few. The accessories were inline w/ online pricing. I gave up on waiting and picked up 2k of .223 FMJ 62gr for $760+tax. Not bad IMHO. I saw .223 55gr 500 loose remanufactured (vendor insisted on me not to say 'reloaded') for $180. Nice brass and brand name primer. It's the C&T booth i remember it correctly.

The BVAC boxes down the aisle from MGT? I picked up a box of that...good for the price, IMO...and they said if I have a problem with the ammo, call them and they'll make it right...

MGT had a few space guns there...I picked up a holster for my Sigma, as well. My buddy bought a 7mm RemMag bolt action and one of those t-shirts near the entrance.

I liked it, honestly. Nicer place than the Holliday Inn, thats for sure! Nice area, too. Just across the street from the missile silos[Coffee]

I am just curious what planet you have bene living on for the last few months.

Wholesalers barely can get the dealers inventory. Most wholesalers have raised their prices considerably compared to what they were a few onths back.

The vendors such as myself very much would like to sell you something. However we would like to not sell it to you for less than the cost to replace it from our wholesalers.

I think your view of pricing might be slightly off kilter.

GunTroll

Nope on kilter just fine thanks. I buy from people like yourself just not a shows for better deals than offered at the/any shows so I know the profit margins and mark up tactics well. Why do I seem to attract opinion bashers. FREE SPEACH man. Send PM's if you disagree with my statement or hold your tongue all together. Hope you made a buck.

I deal pretty regularly wholesale in the firearms world and most of what I have seen is flat out price gouging. Has nothing to do with wholesale prices being raised.

PMAGS for $20? C-Products mags for $20? Fal mags for $20? Ak mags for $25? .50BMG for $7 a round? Magpul stocks for $300? IMBEL Fal receiver on a L1A1 kit for $1900?

Price gouging or do you think their wholesale price went up?

Yep.

PMAGS for $20. MSRP is $18 bucks. Figure in tax and then round tothe nearest dollar caus eno way I really want ot handle dimes and quarters and make tha tkind of change all weekend.

About the only legit price I saw on mags there was an HK AR-15 mag for $65...

There was a dealer down the aisle from MGT...had Remington .223 ammo...some boxes were marked $12.95, others were $14.95...when I asked about the price, they said it was probably from different orders[Stooge]

This weekends show: AR15 mags, many used varieties from $13 - 17 each. New Brownells mags @ $20 each. I can purchase "new" brownell at local shop for $16-20 depending which one you select. For a dollar or two difference, I'd buy new from the local vendor who's price seems legit. just my opinion.. kc

Oh come on! You know what I was saying. And I never singled out any vender or items. What I goto the shows for are used firearms and specificly rifles for custom builds. I never even stop by the black rifle tables or pistol tables. I even heard there was good deals at some vendors tables who sell allmost only pistols. For all I know that was you. I got into it with a guy who started a thread "any one else tired of this" over the right to put value on any paticular firearm as being the right of the seller to do so. I beleive one could sell anything for the price they see fit. That being said I still thought the prices where a little high for the stuff I whent to see. And primers being the most aparent.
