I picked up a Ruger mini-14 ranch model and it is functioning well except for one thing, it ejects the brass out about 20-25 feet. Is this common with the mini-14s or do I have a problem. I would like to keep my brass to get into reloading sometime and this can make it hard to find. Any help would be great.
Hmmm, Yours is close compared to the one I had.. It almost put the CETME to shame...[ROFL1]

My brass was flying about 10ft today. There is a brass catcher that you can get, I think I saw one on sportsmansguide.com. But it is part of the fun of a mini.

You got to shot it getto ,gansta style so the brass will just go straight up or down if your a lefty.
