I don't know what those dipshits are doing. I saw prices similar to those at the one up north the other day. Then went to Walmart the same week and bought a 100 pack of that same Remington 9mm (115gr JHP) for $22. It's like Gander is TRYING to get me to stop shopping there.

Locally,

Dick's has 223 rem for $10/20 rd box..
Wally has federal 223 for $40/100 rd box (470 and quebec)..

Still high but better than those shops.

I drove past the Aurora location today after hitting SW again for something I saw there last time....

Almost, but I remembered why I haven't been back since (above link)

glad I didn't (and feeling justified 100x over)

Don't support corporate America. Problem solved. Prices will go down or stores will close. Either way its good for all.

Second Wal mart, now I hate them as much as everybody else, but as long as they keep selling the fed JHP 200 packs for $76 I will keep buying.

Anybody that starts gouging like that, we need to not spend any money at. WM is the only one "I" have seen that hasnt raised prices yet.

This came from RMGO today, might have something to do with it...if not expect another rise in prices.

Defense Dept. to stop sale of once-fired brass

March 17, 2009 - We have verified through multiple sources that the Department of Defense is suspending the sale of all once-fired brass cartridge cases.

This will drastically reduce the availability of inexpensive ammunition, and is bound to drive up the already rising cost of ammunition.
