Hope and change continued. He just didn't have enough time to reverse the Bush doctrine. Just two more terms of Obama and we can beat this Bush recession.

No, both of you.

What I can't stand is the media, through their usual biased shenanigans, is basically already proclaiming christie as the defacto GOP nominee. No actual conservative/republican wants that RINO obummer-slobbering asshole. Even Foxnews is doing the same thing. Republicans complained that Romney wasn't strong enough to unite the R base, so let's try chris chrispy??? From new jersey of all places.
Its gotta be old guard karl rove ass clowns influencing against their absolute terror of anything that can be construed as "tea party" ie Cruz or Rand Paul. I did the responsible thing and did not vote libertarian last election, so how about the GOP get their fucking heads out of their asses and stop losing elections on purpose playing patty cake with sellouts like mccain, boehner, and ryan. Damn but the R leadership is a shit show.

Shit show....yep.
Michelle that is.
Realistically, yes she will.
Why you ask?
Because Americans on the government dole outnumber the Americans who contribute to this society.
Because she is a black female and we haven't had a black female president yet.
Because the GOP will talk about abortion and religion and throw the election away.
Because when the GOP talks about Benghazi, IRS specifically targeting the Tea Party, Fast and Furious, Gun Walker, teaming up with Al Quaida, NSA domestic spying, the obamacare travesty, a host of other crimes the GOP will find out those things DO NOT MATTER to the American public. The American public wants to be told that their 401K and Roth IRA are safe from taxation (they aren't), that quantitative easing is good for the country (it isn't), that 25 trillion of debt can be paid off by their great-great-grandchildren so they can have a comfy life now (by then the debt will be 75 trillion not including the 200 trillion in unfunded liabilities in social security, federal, state, county, city, local government employee pensions, obamacare), that American Idol and the Broncos will be on TV, etc.
Because a (D) is better for Wall Street than an (R).
I could go on and on about the massive apathy, deliberate ignorance, and mind-boggling stupidity of the vast majority of my fellow Americans but I won't. You know who you are, actually you don't because you feel so good about yourself.

I vote to resurrect FDR.
I vote to resurrect FDR.
FDR is one of the fucks that helped get us in this mess. He signed Social Security into law. SS is nothing more than a Ponzi scheme by which the new workers pay the benefits of the old workers.

Maybe he meant Teddy?
Maybe he meant Teddy?
I hope not - Teddy was a progressive which is a nice word for Marxist.

Theodore "T.R." Roosevelt, Jr. was the 26th President of the United States. He is noted for his exuberant personality, range of interests and achievements, and his leadership of the Progressive Movement, ..
Teddy was the manliest President we had in the 20th century.
But I hear a lot of talk for Elizabeth Warren. Freshman senator, speaks well, but doesn't really do anything. Sounds vaguely familiar.

That doesn't change the fact that he was a bed-wetting liberal.

Isn't she the one who claims to be part Cherokee or something.
Yup - http://elizabethwarrenwiki.org/elizabeth-warren-native-american-cherokee-controversy/
Yeah, like 1/32nd Cherokee, but can't actually prove it.
Yeah, like 1/32nd Cherokee, but can't actually prove it.
Exactly, which means she is lying...again...and will continue to do so if she is elected.
Being unable to prove part of your heritage doesn't mean it's a lie. It makes the claims suspect, but doesn't outright refute them.
Being unable to prove part of your heritage doesn't mean it's a lie. It makes the claims suspect, but doesn't outright refute them.
Aw, you want to giver her the benefit of the doubt, how sweet.
Fuck her, she's lying and that is that. Don't make claims you can't back up at the time you make them, if you can't back it up with facts right there then you're lying. Why would a truthful person wait to back up a claim?
By that line of logic, Romney never paid taxes for the past 10 years. He didn't present his tax returns, so his arguments that he did are flat out lies.

He did present tax returns, maybe not enough to suit you but he presented tax returns from 2010 and 2011.

Ms. Warren has the media in her pocket and they can't even produce any evidence of her claim.

About 1/2 the country sure as hell doesn't. If Hilary or Moochelle get elected I'll just have to say "So long, and thanks for all the fish!"

I find it constantly amazing that when Ridge posts something people jump on him with the assumption that he is a liberal. He clearly was not stating what you think he is stating.
ETA: for clarity

I'm not making that assumption.
Elizabeth Warren made a personal claim that she cannot prove.
Mitt Romney's tax returns are no ones business except Mitts and the IRS. The only reason Mitt's tax returns were brought up is because the media was supporting the (D) argument that Mitt was a rich, white guy and they decided to ask for his tax returns. Mitt never claimed to be something he is not like Elizabeth did.
Where did I misinterpret what Ridge said?

Sadly, I can easily see her pulling it off.
First black president followed by the first female black president.
It isn't so much that she is all that qualified, but that republicans could mess up a wet dream.

Could a Michelle presidency make things any worse? We still have 3 years to go with hubby and he is making an utter mess of everything he touches, she might be an improvement but I doubt it. I think Michelle would be more inclined towards securing the government which is bad news for terrorists like me.

Yes she could. It would be validation of everything her husband tried to do and she would triple down on it.

Man I don't even want to think of it. Unfortunately I am a reality based lifeform so I have to.
Things are craptacular now. She'll bring more QE, single-payor healthcare, more domestic action against her opposition, more powerful DHS/TSA, more regs from the EPA shutting down more manufacturing, more gun control - alot more. Just the tip of the iceberg.
I vote the Hoss USMC for 2016!

Seems like excessive free media coverage 2-3 years prior to an election would be the winner.
