Are the sheriffs risking their job supporting gun rights?

Many not gun owning 'law abiding citizens" in Colorado favor gun control laws. Will they lose the next election helping us?

I hope not.

I think a couple would have been and that is part of the reason they do not. Boulder county sheriff stayed quiet, imagine the challengers if he had said anything. Elected office, politicians, not going to get the real answer out of them.

They got balls and our backs. Make sure you do the same to support them during election time.

There's nothing wrong with CSOC, for what it is, but that won't help anybody facing a Bloomberg-backed opponent next year.

Best way to support a sheriff who's facing a Bloomberg pawn next year is to donate directly to that sheriff's campaign.

(And yes, Justin Smith is EXACTLY who I'm thinking of.)

Uh, I thought here in Larimer County, the Sheriff was elected for a single 12 year term....

My sheriiff (Joe Pelle) in Boulder County is NOT a gun grabber or anti-2A. However, he had to keep a low profile as stated for obvious reasons. This is from local city police chiefs and retired cops I know well.

Some counties have term limits, like Arapahoe and Douglas, but other counties do not, like Otero and Alamosa.
