Ill wager we see colorado go blue for governor again. Dems could run a chicken for pres for the next 2 elections, and still win. As well as 75% of other offices. Texas will go blue within 10 years (likely 5). Wyoming, ID, SD, ND, and Montana will be blue within 20.

Why I see this:
The population areas are always blue. Those areas always grow, and overrule the low population areas. You can even look at a map of California by county, and you'll find the cities are blue, the rest is red. The colleges always breed liberals as well. The Republican/conservative/tea party is so corrupt and disconnected, its breaking apart by itself. They cannot pick a candidate to save their life. Likely because anyone with a set of morals sees how disgustingly corrupt the "party" is, they won't run to represent it!

The dems are doing a fantastic job, still, at vilifying conservatives/republicans. Media still does it. When you look at facts, and research, you find theyre lying, but who does that? Dems claim more jobs in the country, then say "we dont want those jobs, they dont pay a living wage". Dems claim to be all about rights, yet have erroded, what, 5 constitutional amendments in as many years, Im sure more, just forgetting finer points! The Dems have found the areas where there are no checks and balances. No people to point a finger at, and have exploited those areas very effectively. Textbooks rewriting laws and the constitution. Teachers wilful disregard for what the laws actually saw, and teaching their opinion. Loss of health insurance you like, inability to hire people because of choking requirents, thus creating no ability to get jobs. There's a huge amount of money given as food stamps, to an enormous group of people. Most people not on food stamps don't spend as much that are not on food stamps, ie $1170 or $1106 for family of 5.

But who do you point blame at? Sure the teacher, but try going above said teacher to get any reprimand, there's next to nothing. Really nothing if theyre tenure. Food stamps, who made it so high? Textbooks, who wrote, who accepted? Who cancelled the health insurance? Insurance companies, based on complying with a law, now put on hold for a year? Even the unions are falling for it. They were exempt, but have dropped spousal coverage as automatic, and allowed employees to add as an option. Thus insurance for the employee goes up. Raising deductibles, limiting some coverage, etc.

And the real reason we're in this situation, politicans are lying, stealing, dishonest crooks. Find one time in history where one of them has sat down on national TV, and laid out the issues the country is currently concerned with. Say even the top 10 or 5 issues, hell even 1. Explained how this issue was brought about. Then a timeline and a plan to fix it. Plan may or may not work, but at least TRYING to fix, and acknowledging there is an issue. Its always in very vague terms, no solution offered. ie "we're going to get everyone health insurance" How? Why? Why not educate people on why eating total crap is causing those health issues. Maybe a pill isnt going to fix that issue. Maybe curbing food stamps, so only raw, basic food staples are affordable. Maybe take some burden off businesses so they can afford to hire employees (your job should not be insured for instance). Make it easier to fire employees that suck, without a huge cost coming back thru litigation BS.

As I see it the Repubs are just fine with choking the american people and businesses as the dems are. No way we got where we are by just the Dems. We got a fast forward lately, but repubs are just as guilty for political corruption. Just as guilty for spending absurd amounts of money. Programs that dont work at all, and making poverty a bigger issue that it was when MLK was alive. And since they cannot put on the big boy pants, accept and admit failure, and offer an open book on how to try to fix these issues, you'll see very few ever elected. Dems arent providing solutions either, but the Repubs are so demonized, theyve got an uphill battle to fight out of the gate anyway. Its become just about money, repubs lose, theyre happy, means their backers will donate that much more money for the next round. They win, great, money to keep the office.

Only solution I can think of, is cut off funding these idiots, explaining that until they fix themselves, you're not going to finance the organization. Get enough customers(voters, donation folks) telling you you products(candidates) suck, and Im not buying them. The company(repubs) either revamps, and finds new products, or another company comes in, and takes over the market share (conservative voters). In the meantime, while the repub party squables like a 3 year old over stupid little issues (birth control, abortion, and the blame game) we get a front row seat to the demise of a once great nation.

Dead on, couldn't agree more though I pray the divided republicans find a way to unite and find folks that are worthy to represent us that have a chance at getting voted in.

Republicans will only win again if they are willing to cut the military along with things like Medicare/Medicaid/ss......etc. They have to become the party of smart fiscal policy & figure a way to move the discuss away from stupid shit like gay marriage & thing they really can't fix or do that much about like abortion.

Have you considered how many people are waking up in the past years since O in office? I see many Texan Liberals at CSU, no surprise they HATED Texas, and have already decided to stay here. Sure the Dems have made their great plan, but one simple change they plan will be nothing.
