6.5 carcano.
You need to stop listening to the media and do some research fact checking. You are in college, don't they teach you how to do that anymore?

I don't think he is the one that needs to do some basic fact checking.

I knew that since 1999, but they are saying there is another guy with AR-15 now.
I was sure it was an all plastic AR-47 made by glock that's how it got past the metal detectors and the TSA at the airport. I think he had exploding heat seeking bullets that were programed with JFK's DNA to target him from a mile away.
There was a theory that a shot or second shot was accidentally fired by an agent in the detail. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mortal_Error:_The_Shot_That_Killed_JFK . I think it wasn't given much credence.
but what about the second shooter? and I was thinking Jackie did it since she was so close it would be hard to miss. just a theory.
The second shooter was hidden in a secret building on the grassy knoll that was made out of the small material as Wonder Woman's plane. IT WAS INVISIBLE! I'm sure he was an alien and used alien technology from Area 51.

Theory is that SS accidentally shot him second time with M-16A1 (now known as AR-15). Not my theory, just a quick google result.

If that's not a carcano, i copied, then blame the internet for their images.
Personally i believe Joe DiMaggio put out a contract on Kennedy for his dalliances with Monroe. DiMaggio's biography and other sources say he never got over Monroe and was "reported" to not have dated anyone after her.
Figure he talks to his guys asking for help in offing that mick bastard who had the balls to screw around with her after their divorce. The usual suspects at the time. agreed and the rest is HIS Story.
Authorities first declared that they found a German Mauser rifle, according to British philosopher Bertrand Russell, in his "Sixteen Questions" essay about the JFK Assassination. A 6.5 × 52 mm (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/6.5%C3%9752mm_Mannlicher-Carcano) Italian Carcano (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carcano) M91/38 bolt-action rifle was found on the 6th floor of the Texas School Book Depository (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Texas_School_Book_Depository) by Deputy Constable (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Constable) Seymour Weitzman and Deputy Sheriff (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deputy_Sheriff) Eugene Boone soon after the assassination of President Kennedy.[66] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_F._Kennedy_assassination#cite_note-66) The recovery was filmed by Tom Alyea (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Tom_Alyea&action=edit&redlink=1) of WFAA-TV (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WFAA-TV).[67] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_F._Kennedy_assassination#cite_note-67)
This footage shows the rifle to be a Carcano, and it was later verified by photographic analysis commissioned by the HSCA that the rifle filmed was the same one later identified as the assassination weapon.[68] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_F._Kennedy_assassination#cite_note-68) Compared to photographs taken of Oswald holding the rifle in his backyard, "one notch in the stock at [a] point that appears very faintly in the photograph" matched,[69] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_F._Kennedy_assassination#cite_note-FOOTNOTEWarren1964chpt._4.2C_pp._125.E2.80.93126-69) as well as the rifle's dimensions.[70] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_F._Kennedy_assassination#cite_note-FOOTNOTEWarren1964chpt._4.2C_p._129-70)
The previous March, the Carcano rifle had been bought by Oswald under the name "A. Hidell" and delivered to a post-office box (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Post-office_box) Oswald rented in Dallas.[71] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_F._Kennedy_assassination#cite_note-FOOTNOTEWarren1964chpt._4.2C_p._118-71) According to the Warren Commission Report, a partial palm print of Oswald was also found on the barrel of the gun,[72] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_F._Kennedy_assassination#cite_note-FOOTNOTEWarren1964chpt._4.2C_p._122-72)[73] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_F._Kennedy_assassination#cite_note-73) and a tuft of fibers found in a crevice of the rifle was consistent with the fibers and colors of the shirt Oswald was wearing at the time of his arrest.[74] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_F._Kennedy_assassination#cite_note-FOOTNOTEWarren1964chpt._4.2C_p._124-74)[75] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_F._Kennedy_assassination#cite_note-75)
A bullet found on Governor Connally's hospital gurney (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gurney), and two bullet fragments found in the Presidential limousine, were ballistically matched (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ballistic_fingerprinting) to this rifle.[76] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_F._Kennedy_assassination#cite_note-FOOTNOTEWarren1964chpt._3.2C_p._79-76)
some blog
http://jfkfiles.blogspot.com/2007/06/italian-experts-test-jfk-assassination.html
The tests were done in a former Carcano factory in Terni.
In one test, a bullet was fired through two large pieces of meat to simulate the assumed path of a shot that the Warren Commission concluded struck Texas Gov. John Connally after passing through Kennedy's body. In the test, the bullet ended deformed, while the bullet in the Kennedy assassination remained intact.

And what else can you spell with Area 51? That's right, AR15.

Man, aliens designed AR-15, no wonder it's so evil.

Now it makes more sense! Eugene Stoner was an alien from the distant green planet of Greenstone (they just rearranged the letters to spell Eugene Stoner). That's another reason the AR-10 was held back, to keep Area 10 (or is it Area 01) a secret for that much longer.

[sarcastic tinfoil hat]Actually that makes a lot of sense ... after all it was Kennedy's lackey McNamara that forced the M16 down the throats of our M14 loving GIs so I could see one of them getting pissed and taking him out with the "Matty Mattel Shootin' Shell" gun they hated so much.[/sarcastic tinfoil hat]
JFK is still alive. Just ask Elvis.

This. I saw it on Nat Geo the other night. The story is the agents in the car were unfamiliar with this new designed "Ray gun" looking thing and one of them accidently fired and killed POTUS.
wasnt given much credence until we needed to futher demonize the AR platform.

If it could save one president, wouldn't it be worth it?

It wasn't given much credence by anyone but my father [facepalm]I still hear this crap at least twice every year but it was worse when I worked in DC.
At this point the Kennedy assassination matters less than Obama's birth certificate.
If you've been to Dealey Plaza, you have seen how once the car has made the turn, the shot is not that difficult from the 6th floor window.
IMO, the tragedy of the Kennedy assassination was the Johnson Administration.

I used to live in Dallas, and I would look up at that window whenever I was at that intersection. The distance is not long and it's not a difficult shot at all.

Depends on the President.....
