Watching the news now and apparently Zimmerman pointed a shotgun at his girlfriend, kicked her out of the house, barricaded himself inside and the girlfriend Gabe the cops keys but he didn't resist.
On a side note...I'm sitting here at breakfast at a sports bar and it is fun to listen to the opinions of the waitresses. They are saying his conscious is getting to him for murdering trayvon and he was guilty all along.

Granted, this guy for the next 10 years will be the center of media attention, the darling child of the anti-gun crowd, but cmon, use some brains dude. When he does things like this, each and every time, he makes us all look bad.

I was thinking the same thing. He knows he can't get away with anything except maybe a speeding ticket- and that's pushing it- so why even risk anything? Unless he's not firing on all 8 cylinders. I gave him the benefit of the doubt with the whole Trayvon thing, and because Obama picked a side, so naturally I had to choose the opposite to avoid going to hell, but now it just seems like this dude is unstable and problem-prone. Still waiting for some young, disenfranchised thug to exact "justice for Trayvon" upon this guy, but maybe now they won't have to and the justice system will take him.

I am beginning to think that when Zimmerman and Martin met up, it was two trouble makers looking for a fight and Martin lost. Now Zimmerman thinks he can get away with anything

I agree. What better way to score her ten minutes of fame then to be a victim of domestic violence from Zimmerman. Even if the cops don't come up with probable cause for charges the media will have a field day with this. If he didn't do anything I hope he wises up and dumps that bee-otch.
I'm kind of thinking she made the gun thing up. I don't hear any background noises like stuff breaking....

And I think that night in Sanford could easily have been Episode #347756 of all of our favorite hit TV show, "When Assholes Collide."

I've even been to a few where she pushed and bullied and goaded until she got a reaction. But I don't think I've ever been to one where absolutely nothing happened, and the caller made the whole thing up out of thin air.

I work in a high profile position. About 11 years ago I informed my now exwife on a Saturday evening that I wanted to skip church the next day and take her out for brunch. She went ballistic that I would put brunch ahead of Jesus. I argued my point with no violence or threats. She then stated that she would fix me. Realizing that she had recently stopped taking anti depression meds and the use of the words fix me I could tell she was off the deep end so I hit record on my cell phone discreetly as she berated me. She then told me again she would fix me by making the police think I hurt her. She called the police and said I was harrassing her. When the police arrived she told them I had guns all over the house in a way designed to make me sound menacing. When asked if I ever threatened or physically assaulted her the answer was no, but the fact I owned guns was scary to her. Since I recorded the yelling and egging from her that fact most likely saved me. After playback they threatened to arrest her for false reporting and harassment. Either that was our last night together and we got divorced three months later. I dont miss her PETA membership loving anti gun ass. Basically if I would have read the signs as I dated her I could saved this stress. Such as three prior marriages (husbands were all bad guys), a box full of engagement rings, a liberal attitude and fake love for God. Afterwards when I was dating I steered clear of her type or anti gun types of any kind. Now I have been married for 7 years have 2 kids and no drama. Either way there are woman out there who will try to destroy a man if they could. George needs to stay away from them for awhile and pick carefully later. Not sure but when I search for the images of girlfriend of George Zimmerman the girl that comes up does not look like the type who would date a fat broke man. This is an easy way to get some attention.

had a little chinese chick throwing herself at me when i lived in florida, one day on the phone with her, i hear my own voice playing back in the back ground, damn she was cute, but crazy as hell, I saw the writing on the wall and walked away from that one, got the " i am suicidal" call shortly after that, man i dodged a bullet
george needs to lay off the women for a while, move away from florida, costa rica maybe, gro a beard and change his name and hair style.
Picture says a lot. Claim to fame in my opinion. I think GZ is dumb for getting involved with her, but I don't think he is stupid enough to actually do something like that, especially after his wife incident. He knows he is under a microscope and under watch.

I'm guessing Zimmerman already knows the numbers for a few good attorneys. I wonder who will get all of his money first, his ex-wife, ex-girlfriend, his lawyers?

I think George has a couple of issues working against him:
1-his life is under a microscope.
2- he walked on TM's case, he seems to have an air of invincibility to him.
None of us are there, none of us are in his shoes but he seems to have the same little brown cloud that follows "Pigpen" from Peanuts.

Don't count out public defenders too much- if you get one that's been at it a while, they have the most trial experience of any defense attorney. And by law they're obligated to defend their client vigorously and to the full extent allowed by law. Then again though, with limited resources at times, you're probably better off just putting your house up in a SHTF scenario and buying the best you can afford.

to consider that a PD is somehow going to ditch your case because he's not getting paid by you is absurd. frankly, for the most part, they're getting paid more than the DAs they're going against, are seasoned trial lawyers, and are doing the job because they want to, not because they have to.

davsel, definitely some serious motive there. She wants an interview, he says no. she says she will call the cops and threatens him or threatens to say he has a gun, he says get out. she calls.
Obviously none of us were there, but this bit of information brings on a whole new light as to a motive that this might not be real.
He needs to heed the advice of people on here and disappear for a while without any women.
He also told the 911 operator that she is pregnant.
However, she then denies that she is.

Since she has since retracted her story and requested the Florida AG leave GZ alone, maybe people should realize it's the national media who haven't changed and are back at it, trying to frame him up as the bad guy so they can salvage their reputations from trying to convict him before the trial? If ANYONE should have suspected it was a media frame-up immediately, it should have been shooters aware of the Obama and national media campaigns against guns and and gun rights.

As noted in several of the articles the DA can pursue the case without the cooperation or a recanted statement from the alleged victim. I wonder if the DA will still go after him. I am sure the media wants the DA too and the pressure wil be applied.

I think we are all in agreement that Zimmerman did not commit a crime when he shot Martin, maybe Zimmerman was in poor judgement and probably could have made better choices, yet still has a right to defend himself. That being said, have we considered that maybe he really is a dirtbag just not a teenage murdering dirtbag.

You have 2 parties that were the only witnesses. 1 of them has a single story. The other one that made the original allegation now has 2 stories. She's also on the record for telling GZ that she was pregnant when she wasn't. A trial would be a waste of money.
I wonder if they'll go after Ms. Scheibe for filing a false report?

We will find out sonner or later. I think he will end up going to the gray bar resort for a little while then he'll wind up with an ankle monitor and some probation/community service or something like that.

I believe he is having some issue coping with his life and his decisions. his decision to use his weapon, justified or not, has had serious consequences in his life. what has happened to him should be a reminder to each of us that carries to be damn sure we need to use that weapon.
