i used cabinet grade wood and piano hinges to make it very sturdy, then coated it in Kilz. it is a full size (according to the dimensions i found online) wall that can fold up to fit in my jeep wrangler. my wife made a nice canvas case to lug it around and serve as a mat to lay on when shooting. i left the right stake out of the tube on picture 2 to show where it secures the wall to the ground. now ,what to camo design do i paint it…...

Nice! I have to say (and not to take away from you skill) the canvas bag is the most impressive part.

You could use that canvas bag to be the only guy at Home Depot with a reusable shopping bag!

Great project. What do you think it cost you in materials?

I like the folding idea. I programmed my CNC to cut them out, and you get two per 4x8 sheet of material.

The hard part is getting it to stand up solidly. I see tubing and a post hammer. Is that how you stand it up? What are you using for the post?

I use the green garden fence stake, when I am able to pound them completely into the ground the wall is very stable. However I know that not many people in Colorado will be able to do this due to our very hard rocky soil. I'm working on a base but there are still some kinks to work out. We worked on the hinges for a while and found a easy way to make it very solid and flat on the shooters side. The pvc pipe that serves as the post support is bolted in three places and the fence posts give the wall its rigidity and are on the non shooters side.

The plans from Clint Smith (Gunsite) who first marketed this barricade allows 2 to be cut from a single sheet of plywood. He also uses 2x4s as a right triangle against the back side of the barricade for support, held I place by bolts with wing nuts. I used clevis pins instead of bolts to make it easier to set up and less small pieces to lose. Never bothered with paint as various muzzle breaks & SBRs do enough damage
