Just joined the forum. Been in Colorado almost 5 years now for grad school. Originally from Georgia. Been a firearm owner since the age of 12. Belonged to the "dark side" for only a few years though. My pride and joy right now is a DPMS LR .308 with the A3 upper and fluted bull bbl. I love the .308. Favorite pistols are Glocks. I own a G19, 20, 21, and 30. My next EBR will be the Colt 6920 hopefully. Next handgun a nice 1911...probably a SA TRP.
So now you know.

OH! You have my condolences. Perhaps if we get more folks like you there then we can affect some real change (for the better).
Welcome to the forum!
I am interested in the .308, been thinking about making one.
I am in Thornton. Maybe we can go shoot sometime & I can check out yours.[Beer]

Speaking of shooting, where do you guys go for long range work? I've been going to the Boulder Rifle Club (hardly long range but all I've got) but I'm not a member and my buddy that I go with hardly wants to shoot anymore. I was thinking I want to try to find some BLM or National Forest land somewhere where I can do some serious long range work, like out to 1000 yards. Anyone know of any such places? I don't mind driving/camping out.
