Feel free to point to that as the end game to anyone that just wants the "assault weapons" or just wants those "high cap clips" or just wants those "saturday night specials" off the streets to protect everyone. Ask flat out if that is their end game as well, if so ask what other parts of the bill of rights are obsolete (like a neighbor I got along with for years until last spring when she decided to start spouting stuff like that). Shall we repeal the 4th and let the government spy on its citizens, cops walk into your house when they feel like it? Shall we repeal the 5th and force confessions out of people through torture? Shall we repeal the first and force protesters into free speech zones (if they first get the proper permit)?
Shit like that does us more good than harm. Anyone who has believed that it is just certain things that are the problem, since that is the message, has to choose their preferred ending. I believe that if the choice like that is forced the pro gun side would win.

What has he seen or heard in his live to make him believe this crap could work, don't they teach anything in school anymore. Taking guns away really worked in Hitler's Germany, Hitler might have actually had some success defending Germany if he had not already disarmed everyone before the allies invaded. Does anyone honestly believe there is a country on this planet that would invade the U.S. with 300 million guns in the hands of it's citizens.
