That's right boys and girls, our illustrious FORMER Senate President still thinks what he says is important.
From Huffpo:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/11/26/adam-lanza-sandy-hook-magazines-magpul_n_4344175.html?ncid=txtlnkusaolp00000592

The high-capacity 30-round magazines that Adam Lanza used in the Sandy Hook Elementary school massacre last December -- killing 26 people, including 20 first-graders -- were made by Colorado-based ammunition magazine manufacturer Magpul Industries, according to a report released Monday (http://www.ct.gov/csao/lib/csao/Sandy_Hook_Final_Report.pdf).
The detailed 48-page report (http://www.ct.gov/csao/lib/csao/Sandy_Hook_Final_Report.pdf) released by the Connecticut State Attorney's Office reveals that Lanza used Magpul's popular PMAG, or polymer magazine, a 30-round ammunition magazine, in the school shooting.
The report states (http://www.ct.gov/csao/lib/csao/Sandy_Hook_Final_Report.pdf) that Lanza used "a total of twenty-four rounds of 5.56 mm ammunition found, of which ten rounds were in one PMAG 30 magazine, thirteen rounds were in another such magazine and one live round was on the floor. There was a third empty PMAG 30 magazine seized. There were total of eighty expended 5.56 mm casings seized from classroom 8."
The report also notes that the Bushmaster rifle Lanza used was "found with the safety in the 'fire' position. There was one live 5.56 mm round in the chamber and one PMAG 30 magazine in the magazine well. Two empty PMAG 30 magazines that were duct-taped together in a tactical configuration and one live 5.56 mm round were found near the rifle."
Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper (D) signed five strict new gun measures into law this year, including universal background checks on all gun sales and transfers and a ban on high-capacity ammo magazines (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/03/20/colo-governor-to-sign-lan_n_2914925.html) that hold more than 15 rounds. At the time, lawmakers cited the Aurora theater massacre and the Sandy Hook shooting as justification for the new laws.
But Erie, Colo.-based Magpul fought the laws, specifically the high-capacity magazine ban, and threatened to move the business out of the state due to "legal problems and uncertainties" of the new laws, as well as over "general principle." (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/03/19/magpul-ammo-magazine-make_n_2908316.html)
Now, eight months after the gun laws were signed, Magpul is still operating out of Colorado. But the company told Boulder's Daily Camera last month that it is still in the process of moving (http://www.dailycamera.com/erie-news/ci_24597696/erie-based-magpuls-pmag-magazines-used-sandy-hook).
Meanwhile, Magpul has seen its sales soar (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/06/06/erie-based-magpul-sells-o_n_3391891.html) for the vocal anti-gun control stance it took.
As liberal politics blog ColoradoPols notes (http://coloradopols.com/diary/51947/unfair-advantage-magpul-pmags-used-at-newtown), the high-capacity magazine ban law now in effect in Colorado would not have prevented Lanza from purchasing the PMAGs -- it only limits the sale of the magazines in the state.
In response to the Sandy Hook shooting, Connecticut passed a new gun control law that bans the sale or purchase of ammunition magazines that hold more than 10 rounds (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/04/04/connecticut-gun-law-newtown_n_3014699.html).
Recently-recalled Colorado Senate President John Morse (Colo. Springs) took to Twitter when the Magpul connection was made:
John Morse @SenJohnMorse Follow (https://twitter.com/SenJohnMorse)Saw Newtown report. Can someone point me to Magpul’s apology to the victim’s families? #coleg (https://twitter.com/search?q=%23coleg&src=hash)#copolitics (https://twitter.com/search?q=%23copolitics&src=hash)#gunsafety (https://twitter.com/search?q=%23gunsafety&src=hash)

In September, Morse and state Sen. Angela Giron (Pueblo) were both ousted (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/09/10/colorado-recall-results_n_3903209.html) in the state's first-ever recall election over their support of the state's new gun laws.
Hey dumbass! Flawless logic you have there douchenozzle.
Given that line of thought lets look at a couple of things:
Did you ever drive a Volkswagen, BMW or Mercedes?
Or maybe a Mitsubishi or any other Japanese vehicle(Nakajima LTD is a huge supplier to all Japanese auto manufacturers)?

If so are you waiting for an apology? Afterall the above named companies all had major manufacturing contributions to Hitlers Third Reich and the Japanese war effort.

We kicked your ass out of office. You no longer matter to the citizens of Colorado.
You may now FOAD.[pileoshit]

Poor Magpul.

And with story goes on and off, I still can't understand if the AR was used or not.

I find it interesting that they write an article about the brand of magazine rather than the brand/model of firearm. Not that either of those items are to blame, but I wonder if it is a subtle way of trying to go national with a magazine ban that mimic's what CO did as it would be easier to accomplish that than to ban AR-15 style rifles...?

I just haven't made the time to read the 48 pages of steaming data fit to release to the ignorant masses.

For those who have perused the report, did it mention anywhere who manufactured the shoes, socks, pants, shirt or underwear (if any) the murderer wore during his killing spree? Will these companies be apologizing to the victim's families?

Obfuscation of the facts seems to be a recurring theme of the media and the current administration. They actually complement each other.

So what you're saying is that a former senator on twitter matters even less? He didn't even have the power to post it on Facebook.

My question is, Why is asshat Morse wanting Magpul to issue an apology to the victims? Did they do anything other than make a product? Did they coerce Lanza to go kill people? I don't even think those magazines belonged to him, I thought it was his mother's rifle- and wouldn't the magazines be hers as well? Oh, sorry, I'm trying to apply common sense to a person who is severely lacking in that category.

Attention. Trying to stay in the spot light. Using a tragedy to his benefit as much as possible. He makes the connection because Magpul is in Colorado so he is trying to get on the national stage with it.

And I thought it was determined that the AR was not used in the school? Guess I'm missing something.

Didn't the mag ban that Morse was so proud of include a provision to allow Magpul to continue to manufacture magazines but sell them out of state? More hypocrisy.

Mick-boy, the reason people question if the rifle was used, was because early on a medical eexaminer stated in an jnterview that there were NO exit wounds found. That's why I questioned it anyway.
