View Full Version : Help me identify this small safe
I got this from another forum member here and I will let him chime in if he wants to on it with any info he has on it.
It has absolutely no identifying marks and no makers marks at all what so ever.
Heres what I got let me know what you know.

That's way cool. I always liked old safes and I remember the one in the bank my mom banked at in Littleton. Gloss black and brass and the inner door workings were exposed.
When your 5 years old all that mechanical mayhem is pretty awesome.

A small metal one?
I will bring up my 50 and we can see if there is any ID marks inside...

I'd like to see this.
Should I bring mine too? It might be exceptionally hard to open.
Is that a single document safe?

Man, I wish I could help ya. When I picked it up (many years ago), there was no info available. The door was locked - in the open position. It was pretty fun to open expose the guts like you did, and figure out the combo. All I know, is it's a heavy little sucker!
Looks like a executive wall safe that may have never been installed.
Many years ago when they were making Central City a gambling town, we broke down a fake wall and found a similar one.
I burned through the back and found 2 rolls of pennies all realatively new, meaning the newest was 1951.
And a silver bond that took us 2 years to trace and found it had been cashed in many moons before.
There was a company in Denver that made these, no stamps no markings.
I'll take it.
(Oh, wait. This isn't a sales ad, is it?)
