Lyman T-mag users

Does anybody use a Lyman T-mag press? If so how do you set up your FL re-sizing dies? Am second guessing how mine is set up. I have been doing mostly pistol brass on it and am having troubles with rifle brass re-sizing(.223 & .308).

I would think you set them up the same as any other press. Are you having problems FL sizing?

What is the actual problem? Put the ram up with the shell holder on it. Screw the die down till it touches lightly. Lube the brass, and size.

Its kinda hard to explain, with the ram in up I would thread the die down and on the down stroke the ram comes up a little bit, is this normal? almost like when the ram is up its not at its highest point when its at rest on the up stroke

I just read something about that. It was called cam-over. Your pivot point on the press is going past center and lowering the ram a fraction of a inch. Thanks 4gunfun, What am gathering is its ok and not ok. Just a personal preference
