View Full Version : 100 yard indoor shooting range for sighting in a .22 rifle
Are there any indoor ranges in the Denver area that have a 100 yard indoor range where I can sight in a .22 rifle?
Blucore in Lakewood. I think they let you shoot rimfire on the rifle side.
Surprised you don't know about Blucore, Leif! 100 yd. indoor/underground range. In Lakewood (?) on Jewell, just west of Wadsworth.

Blucore is expensive..... I suggest you check prices first. A heart attack at home is better than in the lobby of the store.

True dat - I've never shot there for just that reason, I was just offering the place as a suggestion. I understand they have assloads of money invested in the place that has to be recouped, but I can't help much.

I don't think the range there is too expensive.
You can absolutely use a .22 on the rifle side.
Never been to Blue Core I guess its because I've heard so many negative things about the place. Maybe I will have to go and check it our finally.
The weather has been really nice lately. Aren't you a member at CRC?
Blucore charges about the same as everyone else.. The range is clean and nice with great ventilation. It is what it is, they charge prices based on their operating expenses, they have sunk a lot of money into their place since they took it over from the previous owners.
There is also a 100 yd indoor range in Longmont that is part of the city/county LEO training center. I believe that you have to attend a safety class though before you can shoot there.

I wouldn't call $30+ AN HOUR what everyone else is charging. It costs me $8 for unlimited range time at Firing Line.

I've never had to leave after only an hour at ANY place that charges that way.

Longmont range

One of these days I might just have to pony up the cash to shoot 100yrds indoor with a .22 but $30/hour is awfully steep in light of the fact that I'd likely go well past an hour.

Triggertime in Longmont.
Don't you have to be a member, or as a guest, accompanied by a member ?

Cherry Creek Gun Club has a 100-yeard indoor/underground "tube", but again, I think you need to be or be the guest of a member.

100 yards indoor, open to the public? BluCore. I also joined it as a member so, instead of waiting, I can call ahead to reserve a lane at a time of my choosing. Given how crowded most indoor ranges are these days, that alone was worth it to me. I used to shoot about once every 6-8 weeks. Since joining, I go about 2 times a month. I like it.

I've only been to Blue Core a few times but I am pretty sure that I have never paid $30 an hour.. Looking at their site it looks like they charge $17/hr on the pistol range and $30 on the rifle range. I have never paid more to use the rifle range there than I have the pistol range and they only charge you for an hour and don't kick you off unless there are people waiting. $17 for the pistol range seems pretty normal to me.. who else has a rifle range? Silver bullet is $16 so $1 less, Cherry Creek is $16.50, they do have a rifle range but it is outdoors.
Firing line only has a 50ft/16yd range and is $14 for non-members.

Firing line only costs me $6. And I'm not a member.
Maybe those of you that are saying BlueCore doesn't charge their posted price should go tell them they're losing a customer because the posted price is insane.
And yes, I have been to BlueCore and used their rifle range. It's very nice.

Better than member price.
