PThere was a post a while back in the "Politics/Legislation" section a while back on what appears to be a pro 2a stance from Rep Jared Polis.

Riiiight!

Rep. Peter King (R-NY) has introduced the companion version of the failed Schumer-Toomey-Manchin bill in the House. H. R. 1565 "The Public Safety and Second Amendment Protection Act." This bill currently has 185 co-sponsors - and when you see who is signed on, it should be clear this bill does not protect the Second; but attacks it. The bill is 33 votes short of a majority in the House. While it is unlikely House leadership are feeling suicidal, you might wish to contact your Representative - especially if they are one of the co-sponsors below:

The (D) will lie and misrepresent itself all day long. The ends justify the means.

Puerto Rico is a US territory, so they have representation in the House, but not the Senate.

The territories have non-voting reps. They can still introduce bills but don't count for much else.

Once the text of the bills came out his real stance was obvious.

I wonder with the recent recalls if Degett,Pearlmutter and Polis really are still supporting?

Sorry, thought you were making a blanket statement.

No worries, in my experience the (D) is more inclined to that behavior than the (R).

I wonder with the recent recalls if Degett,Pearlmutter and Polis really are still supporting?

They will do what the party says to do and they will not waver. There is no (D) with an independent thought like Tancredo, Cruz, and Paul for example are to the (R) and even these guys will tow the party line.
