Hey Everyone,
I've been looking at a few belts for a few different purposes lately and need some help biting the bullet... I'm looking to take advantage of SKD's 13% off on Cyber Monday (Tomorrow) Yet I'm also looking at other options.
Regardless, I see a lot of positive things about the HSGI Battle belt, yet also a lot of people saying its priced high because its HSGI, not exactly that its the best option and that alot of smaller makers produce equal quality or better products.
However, Sizing is where I'm having a large problem with right now, I can tightly ft into a 30" Waist pair of pants (depending on brand) and 32" have a little slack, yet I wear my pants relaxed. and 31" is almost impossible to find but fits great.
So, I'm looking at a few different things, 1) A new belt for EDC that I can wear every day, and 2) A belt to go inside a battle belt which I know will have to be longer, and then 3) The battle belt itself.
I know a lot of people like the belts from OSOE and that John Willis makes great stuff, yet the price seems a bit ridiculous while others maker similar products at equal quality.

now, I have no problem paying for Quality because I do abuse my gear, but does that $16 really buy you anything in the given example?
Either way, I've looked at Endom, ATS, Condor (not seriously), HSGI and a few other companies for Battle Belts and the HSGI seems to be one of the best and priced fairly alright.

HSGI: $75
And once again, what does $34 buy you? is it the HSGI Name/Warranty? Or is it the Fan boys that are setting the prices so high on this gear?
So, really I'm trying to get some input as to what products are really worth the money, and then what size I should order for this battle belt and the inner belt. I cant be the only guy who wears 30-32" pant sizes.
HSGI Comes in:
30.5 inches end to end
35.5 inches end to end (** This is the one I'm thinking I'll get**)
41.5 inches end to end
46 inches end to end
I'm also looking at some other gear for my Plate carrier and belt set-up, but I'm sitting at about $280 worth of stuff in my SKD Cart right now and dont want to bite the bullet if it isn't worth it!
So any incite or help is appreciated it.
