Hey guys,

Just got a TC custom shop from my dad and was wondering about swapping barrels on these. The current barrel is a .375 Winchester which I don't really think I will have a lot of use for out west. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the "custom shop" shop models and 1. if its possible to put a blackpowder/muzzle loader barrel on it and 2. where is a good place to find a blackpowder barrel. 3. I am 100% new and naive to the muzzle loader world so wondering if there was different calibers etc you would recommend for hunting elk in Colorado. Thanks in advance for any advice!!

http://www.tcarms.com/firearms/

which custom shop is it? they list numerous firearms but a limited section of their "interchangeable" guns.

I just looked online and found a similar one, from the pictures it looks like a contender. I'll look at it again tonight and try to see if it has the model on it. I looked before it only said Thompson Center Custom Shop. It has the same scroll work as this one though:

Another place you might like to talk to:

I've not bought anything from them but was looking into a future T/C purchase and they seem to make many additional barrels for the Encore and Contender.

The Contender had a few different "looks"over the years. Post a picture and we can tell you.
