Anyone know a place that will install night sights on my Glock 19 for free if I purchase them from the same place?

Bowers tactical near Arapahoe and I25, I've had them put on a few sets for me, highly recommended!

I've always had them install Ameriglo sights, and their prices were as good as I found online.

Or you might be able to find it online for cheaper then pay someone to install them.......

Just go to bowers.

Yep. Bowers for all your night sight needs. I thought I knew what I wanted heading in there but after talking to Rob I went a different direction and couldn't be happier.

As promised in my PM, here are the different Ameriglo sights I've used and recommend.

The Hackathorne:

The idot pro:

Not sure what they call these:

Out of all three, I like the Hackathorne's the best, and they are also cheapest.

Make sure you call Bowers first to verify stock.

Dumb question, is there an advantage to not having night sites on the rear? Faster acquisition of the front site?

Less to distract your eye.

Less to distract your eye.

This ^^

The rear tritium doesn't seem like it would be much of a distraction compared to that big orange dot, but when compared to a plain black sight, it really is.

IMO, if you are close enough to a threat in low light, to make a justifiable shoot, tritium rear sights are going to be very marginal in actually assisting with good target acquisition, considering you should be focusing on the front site anyway.

I thought I wanted the Hackathorns with the bright front and plain rear sight. Went with the Warren Tacticals instead. Green front and a small yellow dot right below the rear notch. Makes sight alignment in the dark easy. Just put the larger green dot right above the small yellow one. Glad I didn't go with a plain rear sight as you really don't have any point of reference in the dark to line the front sight up. The small rear dot is barely even noticeable in the light so focusing on the front dot is easy.

i can't speak to any sights other than XS big dots, but if you have basic motor function with your hands and a pair of pliers and a hammer, you can put them on a glock. just search youtube and see how easy they are to put on. It might take you 5 minutes to do.
