Just got a box of items I ordered from Midways USA. In it were three boxes of 300BLK. Only two made it. After the UPS guy left I noticed the box had about an 8 inch hole on a corner seam. What is my next recourse? I already contacted UPS and the driver looked in the truck and this was only 45 minutes after delivery. A resolution claim was files and the driver is supposed to return and inspect the box tomorrow. UPS policy is that they do not deliver damaged boxes. In other words they think I'm lying. Anyone have any experience with this.
On a side note, they were very unresponsive to my request for the driver to check the truck until I told them it was ammo and they quick got on it.

Did you take pictures of the damage?. Documentation documentation, documentation.
I had a damaged box before. They had taped it back together. One of the boxes of .45 CCI Blazer had also spilled as some of the cartridges were put back in the tray in the wrong direction. I still had all my stuff, so I didn't find it necessary for a claim.

SAve the box, contact midway so they can start a claim. Claim would be under 100 Id guess, so process is pretty quick.

fill a claim with Midway, they are the UPS customer, you are not. Take pictures, and they will most likely send you a replacement of issue a credit for the missing box.

Contact Midway as well
This exact thing happened to me a few months ago. Midway made it right. I told them that their cheap shipping option with USPS doing the last mile totally sucks and they should change it. They sent my replacement parts UPS ground (no USPS involved).
Amazes me how many dishonest pricks can get jobs in the parcel delivery business. I've been delivered an empty package before, obviously cut open and taped shut.
My brother ordered case of 9mm from Midway about 9 months ago. He received less than half of it. The box was destroyed and partially taped back together. UPS was the carrier. Long story short, he got screwed. Neither Midway or UPS made it right.

I have had to argue with Midway before but in the end they have always have made it right.
Been there, done that, Midway shipped the missing ammo to me straight away.

That's happened twice when I shipped at the downtown Greeley post office

All the folks saying to contact Midway are correct.
I had a damaged package shipped from them, that was missing 2 of 5 AR mags. I called and spoke with a very friendly CSR, and they had my mags to me in a couple days, no questions asked.

you should not keep the ammo that arrived, send to me at po box......
My UPS shipments always seem to arrive damaged when they have the "ORM-D" sticker on the outside. No sticker, no damage...

I don't know that I've ever gotten ammo without this sticker.

OK, Midway is filing a claim with UPS. They told me another box of ammo is in the mail. We will see. Midway could not have been more helpful. I did tell them that the airbags they use for packing expand at 9000ft (where I live) and bulge the boxes out till they split. That is what happened. At least I got my Samson Evolution Rail. This build will be sick when I'm finally done. :)
