View Full Version : What is the ONE thing at the top of your Christmas list?

Apparently in Florida, it's a new gun: http://www.clickorlando.com/news/guns-may-be-in-high-demand-for-floridians-holiday-gifts/-/1637132/23516822/-/g2y18e/-/index.html

I'm just wondering: What is at the top of everyone's list? I'm not looking for sky-high dream lists, but instead I am curious what people really want or expect to receive for Christmas.

I'll start: I would really love to receive something similar to this: http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-HW-F450-Channel-280-Watt-Soundbar/dp/B00BLX9510/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1387297419&sr=8-1&keywords=Samsung+sound+bar

Mostly, I would just like to see my family for Christmas. They live 1000 miles away and we only can afford to see each other a few times a year.

I'm amazed how much some people spend on Christmas. My wife and I have a $50 limit on Christmas gifts so honestly there's nothing I really want ... everything I want is way out of budget.

So I'll probably end up getting clothes ... oh well ... can't go walkin' 'round nekked :p

I pre-ordered the Tac Con 3MR trigger. We use Christmas as an excuse to buy something relatively expensive we want that we might not buy otherwise. Last year we bought the Wife a DSLR.

The look on my old man's face when I give him my old AR.

I'm the only one in my family who has some disposable income, so I really love getting people what they want for Christmas.

But as far as what I want, I'm expecting a donkeys jersey and some cr123 batterys

How about dream lists that go BEYOND sky-high? 'Cause I'd love to win that Mega Millions and use the money to get myself in on that Mars 1 venture >.> lol

I like it but I don't need any lowers. I might wait until the hype dies down or until you can private party transfer in the state of CO again.

I doubt I get anything good for Christmas. Usual stuff of me spending about 3x as much as stuff I get in return, and I usually don't use many things given to me anyway. Though if I had to pick something realistic I'd hope my wife took the hint for some more .458 ammo.

I've asked most of my family to just give me a sample pack of beers or something along those lines.

But I wish my mom could be coming out to CO though so she could see my daughter. That's what I really want for Christmas. That and for Claire to wake up and have Christmas with her family.

A dirtbike is my top agenda. It looks like it's going to happen. Between selling a few guns [Shake] and some Jeep parts I should be able to make it happen. Wish I didn't have to sell any guns but I'm dedicated! I will also be working for Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Year's Eve into New Years Day. Being on the bottom of the totem pole blows.

I didn't really want a lot for Christmas, but after playing with my father's present, I know what I want. He babysits for us "free" of charge, so we saved the money it would normally cost us and bought him a pair of Swarovski 10x42 NEUs. I had to check them to make sure they worked. WOW. I think I need to buy myself a Christmas present.

My one true gift that I wanted will be here Friday night! I have not seen my son in a year since he left for the Navy. Even though I talk to him at least once a week nothing compares to seeing them in person. Now I know what my mother went through all those year when I was in the Army. Only difference was I was never able to get home from Christmas since we always seemed to be on the QRF

Having happy kids on Christmas morning is all I want. My wife and I both have off Christmas day which is unusual, so I'm thankful for that.

My wife and I don't go crazy for each other. It's just some small, fun, stocking stuffer stuff. We like to focus on the kids for it all.

Brother that sounds good, a good aged liquor on the rocks, a cigar that smokes smooth and a relaxing time with our family and friends. That's the ticket, hey maybe I can goad my wife into buying me a bottle of Ron Zacapa XO for those ice cubes. :)

Usually get a book and some clothes for xmas. The boys wanted me to get a bike so I could ride around the hood with them. Wife and I found a great Black Friday deal on a nice but not too expensive mtn bike. I like the bike and am getting more exercise, but the real gift is to spend the time with the boys. Got the wife a purse and some lingerie, so at least ill have one present to unwrap :)

I've been telling the wife numerous times that I don't need or want anything, just a card will be fine. Yesterday I remembered I would still like to have the complete Twilight Zone DVD set someday, but would feel like kind of a douche to mention it this late in the game and I think she already picked up some stuff anyways.

No real bonus, but if we can close pesky open projects by EOY it will be a little bump in the Q4 commissions that also collect the year end reconciliation. Alas, that is not paid until the end of January.

I know how it is.
Mom is a bit sad this year since we can't go place a wreath or flowers on Dad's grave who is buried in NY.
We'll make best with the family we have and pray for those who are no longer around.
