According to this site, they are going to MEET at the Museum, then MARCH to City Hall.

By attending the tea party at the capital what would I be supporting or calling for... I hope it would be for our politicans who have sworn to up hold the constitution to do so ..... Can any one help me out here.... Thank you

bringing any flags?
US, Gadsden, Navy Jack ....?
Signs?
Kids?
If you have any ideas, now is the time to share them, not after the fact ;)
you know, If you Don't show up for one of these parties, you're doing just as the libtards want..
just sayin' ;)
I'll be at the Capital with my Gadsden flag, video camera and maybe my dog will come with his sign.
I suggest anyone coming bring a video camera, just in case!! If something happens, don't let the Democommie media have the only video record.
M2MG
I'll be wearing my digital audio recorder, It'll record ALL DAY LONG ;)
Anyone interested in meeting before and going in as a group?
M2MG
sure, meet me outside the capitol, I'll be easy to spot
I'll be the one who's mad at obama and his thugs
I want to go, but don't want to go by myself. I wouldn't know what to say if approached by a reporter.

Its about whats important to you, these are not just for conservitive types, the Tea Party is for anyone that has greviences with the government and feels their elected officials are doing nothing but giving lip service. You can be upset with gov spending, taxs, 2nd amendment rights, open borders, foregin policy. The Tea Party is for we the people to say we are feed up and we are not going to take it anymore.

Looks like Faux news hijacked the Tea Parties. Glen Beck is saying don't make it about Obama, I thought this was to air our grievances about the currant Government and their disire to tax the living crap out of us. When did Beck become Samuel Adams ?
I do not trust the media...
I think its because 3 stories came out this week saying hes a nut job and promotes the pittsburgh police slayings.
He's doing what he should and step back so the media attention is not about him and its about the people attending.
You know the liberal media ia going to look for the 1 crazy with some super stupid sign and promote that as all of us.
I say take your signs jusy dont be a dumb arsh and keep it clean.
I have heard that ACORN will be operating in undercover mode with intentions of disrupting the events. Their mission is to DISCREDIT as many of the demonstrations as possible, with the MSM present to record and report. These infilTRAITORS will do or say anything to get in front of a TV camera and we will end up being the scapegoat. Be forewarned. [Rant2]

GLENN: Now that I'm really fired up for tax day, I have some news I have to share with you about the tax broadcast that we're going to do in San Antonio, Texas, at the Alamo. I'm going to be a little cryptic here but someday we'll sit down and we'll talk about it everything that is going on, but you're not a dummy. When I first I had no intention of going to these tax rallies and when I first heard about the tax rally at the Alamo, I was I thought, "I've got to be there." And I wanted to be there because the Alamo, it is the iconic symbol. And to have people take a stand, people taking a peaceful stand at the Alamo, I wanted to be a part of that. I want not only as a dad, as a father, as an American citizen, as an individual, I wanted to be a part of it. I wanted to stand with you. But I also wanted to make sure that I captured that picture for America. That picture is important for the country to see.
Well, life is an amazing thing in America today if you happen to have my point of view and be in the position that I'm in. And what has happened over the last few days is and this is one reason why we have asked to can you register on the website at GlennBeck.com. We wanted to know who was coming, how many were coming, et cetera, et cetera. They have been begging, can we ticket this event. Well, we can't. It's an open space. Can we put up fences and gates and yada, yada. No, we can't do any of that; they just want people to come. And things, there are forces at play that are doing everything they can to make this tax day at San Antonio at the Alamo about me, and they're trying to we have some very good reports. We have a very good security team and there are reports now that came in last night, the final straw was that it is there are just things that just everything is out of control right now because people
WILSON: Do whatever they have to do to destroy the message and that ain't gonna happen, brother. Nobody is going to destroy the message because the message was never about me, it wasn't about anything. It was about average people standing up. And when I got involved in this last week sorry. I was screaming about tax day. Now my voice is about to be blown out.. If I got involved last week, these people who are organizing this are just regular people. They're just like you. They were like, "Hey, let's do something at the Alamo." Well, then I got involved and the whole world changed. Yesterday I promised them that I would do a fundraiser for them. Part of that is just to defray the cost of security. It is ridiculous what needs to happen for security alone. When we put the thing out last night and we had over the capacity of what this area in downtown San Antonio can possibly hold, they called me and said, please, dear God, Glenn, please. I am coming and I am going to broadcast and I am going to show that picture to America. America needs to see Americans peacefully, without signs or anything else because that's part of it. They want to make sure that there are signs there that say horrible things and they can get their picture with me in a crowd full of people with these signs. Do not bring any sign. You will be able to spot those in the ranks right away. You come with love and peace. You come with a spirit of Martin Luther King in your heart.
Remember all the reports of calling Obama a terrorist at Palin rallies? That's what they're trying to turn this into and they ain't gonna do it. I will stand with you in the crowd because this is about you, not about anybody else. It's about you and the Alamo and getting the picture. They know that picture is worth a fortune. They know, just as I know, what you standing in front of the Alamo means. So I am going to beg the forgiveness of the promoters and not join them on the stage and give the key note speech but I will be there because this event cannot be about me. This event cannot be about people coming in and trying to mess everything up. They ain't gonna do it. They're not gonna do it.
You go ahead and do whatever you want. We know who we are and it was never about any speech or anything else. It was about you taking a stand and the image of the Alamo. I will broadcast live from the Alamo. You will stand in front of the Alamo and America will see it. Back in a second.
I have heard that ACORN will be operating in undercover mode with intentions of disrupting the events. Their mission is to DISCREDIT as many of the demonstrations as possible, with the MSM present to record and report. I would think that those @ssholes being there would be more of a motivating factor for our people to show up.
the 'thing' is that these turdburglars don't know is that there will be a great percentage of ccw holders on site, not to mention a lot of vets (and others) who probably won't let a confrontation be long and drawn out ;)
ACORN peoples should be easy to find, gold teeth, lack of coherent sentences, hats disheveled, pants 10 sizes too big and a lack of respect for others ideals.

there is going to be a good turn out based upon what I see and hear.
wouldn't you hate to have not been a part of it?
C'mon, you'll regret not going. It's only one day (actually, depending on where you go, it could be a few hours) (I'm taking the whole day off as you know this is going to exceed the time frames advertised)

what location?
Denver: I propose one of the two canon (adjacent to the west steps where this is supposed to take place) but I'm not sure how things are going to be setup or barricaded. If we can't get that close, War Memorial Park would be my 2nd choice (between Lincoln & Broadway, which is only about 85 yards west of the canon)
all other locations, you're on your own, but feel free to coordinate here ;)

(John Sunderland | The Denver Post)
More than 5,000 people crowded onto the west side of the state Capitol this afternoon, as part of a nationwide string of tax-day protests dubbed "tea parties."
Speakers at the protest, including a number of Republican activists, lawmakers and candidates, railed against current federal spending, President Barack Obama and Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter. They called the economic stimulus package fiscally irresponsible, and they accused politicians who supported it of ignoring the voice of the people.
"The people in power deceived us," Weld County District Attorney Ken Buck told the crowd during the rally, "and we were complacent. We are complacent no more." Protesters at the rally carried signs with slogans such as "Obamanomics:

Chains we can believe in" and "We're not Europeans, we're Americans." A number said they believe the president's economic policies are pushing the nation toward socialism and financial ruin.
"It's pretty sad that I've lived 65 years and never had a reason before to protest something," said Bertha Holland, who carried a sign that read, "Don't stimulate. Liberate."
"What's happening scares me," she added.
The event was monitored by a number of Colorado State Patrol troopers and Denver police officers, although no incidents were reported.
The Colorado event was organized by Brian Campbell, a Republican who said he is challenging Democratic U.S. Rep. Ed Perlmutter in the 2010 election. Campbell said he began organizing such "tea parties" — a name meant to invoke the Boston Tea Party of 1773 — earlier this year after seeing a message on the social-networking site Twitter about similar events around the country. He said he is worried about what the country's future will look like for his five children.
"They need to be able to be free," Campbell said. "They need to be able to fail or succeed in a free way. I don't know anything else to do but fight." Campbell said he intended the event to be nonpartisan
— he said he also invited a number of Democrats to speak — and strictly focused on financial issues. Rally attendees, though, had broader aims. Some held signs protesting illegal immigration, abortion, a cap-and-trade carbon tax, and the Internal Revenue Service.
Toward the end of the rally, a man on a megaphone began shouting that income tax is unconstitutional. Earlier in the day, one man held a sign saying "Where's the birth certificate," an apparent reference to rumors — deemed false by the state of Hawaii — that Obama was not born in the U.S. Meanwhile, a number of liberal groups conducted their own counter-campaign during the day, holding a news conference before the tea-party rally, then milling about

Here, the founder of ProgressNow Colorado, Michael Huttner, holds up a small broom, signaling "We're Here to Sweep Up Bush's Mess." (THE DENVER POST | ANDY CROSS)
the crowd during it. Representatives from the groups — which included ACORN, Colorado Progressive Action, Environment Colorado, NARAL Pro-Choice Colorado and ProgressNow Colorado — said they support Obama's budget and the stimulus package, much of which Obama has vowed will go to infrastructure projects.
"It's the first time in recent history that I can remember that we can celebrate the investment in our critical public infrastructure," said Jessie Ulibarri with Colorado Progressive Action. "If we want to move beyond this recession, we have to invest in these public structures."
Michael Huttner, the founder of ProgressNow Colorado, said the "tea parties" were not the grassroots movements they claim but instead "AstroTurf."
"The tea parties are the latest version in a months-long campaign against change, organized by right-wing think tanks and lobbyists who have done well over the last eight years under George Bush," he said.
Huttner said national conservative political groups such as FreedomWorks and Americans for Prosperity have been linked to the movement.
But Campbell said the Denver event was locally planned and funded. He said the audio equipment and podium were donated and that any other costs were paid for out of his pocket.
"We think the sponsors are all these people who came and brought things with them," Campbell said. John Ingold: 303-954-1068 or jingold@denverpost.com (jingold@denverpost.com)

Great job everyone, I was at the Denver one and it was great and on target. I am glad it remained a bipartism message and NOT a anti-obama rally.
I looked forward to the next.
If there are folks in the Grand Junction area going, maybe we could all meet, and go together. Otherwise I will make the tripto Denver.
