I saw the fight. I don't know how to open hips.

Congratulations to the defending champion, who has yet to win a fight against Silva.

Bas Rutten explains in his twitter: remember the post I did why you have to open your hops when you kick? Other wise you connect with the flat part and break your shin. https://mobile.twitter.com/BasRuttenMMA

Looked to me like the Champion was winning this fight against Silva when Silva went down, and furthermore act like an idiot and you are likely to get your button punched like what happened in the first match between these two.

I'm a big fan of Silva, but you can't continue to act dumb in the ring and expect everyone to revel in your Godliness, Silva paid, twice, I don't see him coming back from this one, looked like a clear Tibia Fibia break, rods and pins tonight in surgery, 38 years old, time to walk away.

Karma and time have strange ways of humbling men.

I do believe that he knocked him out in the first fight and he was beating him good in this fight. Silva is the greatest of all time but his time is up. I wish him the best.

I'm not really into UFC, but it seemed like it took Silva longer to walk out than it did to lose the fight.

I agree, act like a professional if you are the champion. Clown around and basically dare someone to punch you
in the chin, like saying you can't hit me or hurt me. He got beat thinking he was the man. Silva will be remembered being the best ever and he deserves that no doubt.
Its not time for him to walk away, it might be time to LIMP away though.

My favorite part after breaks like that is when they try to stand on it immediately after.

I don't think that the brain has processed that it's broken and you can't stand on it.

The nervous system is overwhelmed and the brain doesn't get the message.

When I crashed in the Pikes Peak hill climb I broke my right heel bone and compound fractured my left femur.
The first thing I tried to do after the crash was stand up. I thought I could :)

I can't stop watching it. Never want to see someone win on a technicality, but hey, a win's a win!

What's his face certainly had the first round won. No one can ignore his 10-0 record.

Nasty break, I'm sure they have some competent medical personnel on site. That is a major ouchie. Kind of like kicking a lamp post, no give.
