I have mixed feelings on this one.
In one sense, it is kind of cool; but ...[Pepsi]
in another sense it is kind of disturbing (from the standpoint of always pointing it at your dog) .[Dunno]

Yeah because that doesn't have "brandishing" written all over it.

F$%#ing stupid, that's the kind of thing that gets people killed accidentally.
Hey why not make a big AR-15 fishing pole while they're at it.

Probably get hassled by the police while walking your dog. I can see the headline now, "Man and dog get shot by police while on a walk"

Estupido.
<---not seeing the humor.
Nah. You would get called on every time you took your dag on a walk

It's only stupid if you are afraid of guns.

People like to stand out and it's not a real gun, so who cares? There is a leash sticking out of the barrel, so I'd say this is less shocking than those katana umbrellas.
ETA: Sorry, just in a pissy mood.
Ive seen a lot of dog owners that should turn it on themselves..
Stupid shit.

Special made for cops?

Sorry Mr. Pissy but I also think it's a dumb idea. Something abut pointing it at the dog's head... I'll stick with 6' of paracord.
Everyone is right, it IS dumb. Just not dumb enough to whine about.

My wife manages a "pet boutique". I showed it to her.
"Who was the f#$:ng idiot that came up with that idea?" was her response.
Needless to say, her shop won't be carrying it.

Judging by the following, the leash is "created" by Muscovite artist.

I think it's pretty stupid, who wants to point a gun (even a fake one) at your dog anyways. I also dislike all retractable leases in general.
Would it change anyone's mind if Target sold this leash?

I think it's a fast way to get the police called on you.
This would be a good social experiment. Walk your pitbull through Denver and tally up the police calls. Man with a gun vs man with a pitt.

No, but they might if it were sold at Walmart.

Go ahead.
This gives me an idea. I'm gonna make one with a yellow leash and a different handle. It's gonna look like my dog is getting peeed on. Sorry, Gilbert Godfreid made me do it.

ehhhhh, I find it hilarious, and I love my jerky dog.
I wouldn't point a gun at my dog, man that's stupid!
If they made this for cats, I'd get it tomorrow for my stupid cat.

I was thinking this would be required to have the BLAZE ORANGE markings on the barrel, like all toy guns (or replicas of guns made after 1898) are required by 15 CFR 1050 (http://www.law.cornell.edu/cfr/text/15/part-1150).
