Is there anyone in the northern Colorado area that goes to Great Guns in Nunn? Thinking of planning a trip out there here soon.

I havn't, but have heard good things from a couple of people. Bit of a trip but beats the sketchyness of pawnee public spots.

We try to drive up there from Denver at least every other month. We have never had to wait and the staff is very friendly.

I have been shooting sporting clays there once a month for the last few months, lots of fun.

I have also shot at the pistol ad rifle ranges a few times, they are very nice.

I am considering becoming a member.

Hello Gentlemen:

I did not know that there was a range out there but I would be willing to go shooting with you guys just about any Sunday or Monday. Do you need to be a member to shoot there? PM me and I will send you my contact info. I am into rifles, shotguns and handguns. I am willing to car pool as well, I'm in N. Ft. Collins.

Nope, you don't have to be a member to shoot here. It's $20 to use their Pistol/Rifle ranges as long as you'd like. They also have Trap and Skeet. Here's a link to their site, awesome place and staff.

No problem bud, if it's a little chilly make sure you give them a call because they may be closed.

If you think about it though, $20 to shoot as long as you'd like really isn't too bad. Especially for what you get there, beautiful ranges, targets supplied, shooting blocks, and all that good stuff haha

I cruised out there on Monday and due to the wind it was closed. Easy to find and it looks like a great place. In fact, my wife saw it from 85, big berms and she says, "that looks like a shooting range". I may try again this Monday if it is open. Thanks for the tip guys.

Yea, you can definetly see the berms from 85 if you know what you're looking at. Just give them a call before you head out there next to check if they're open.

The wife and I just went out to see where it was, I figured it would be closed due to the wind in any case. We will call this coming Monday and if they are open I want to go out and zero my milsurp rifles and maybe do some pistol practice and drills. We'll see how things shape up this weekend.
