Has anyone ordered something from RRA.com recently? I purchased a complete rifle minus lower, and the person I talked to on the phone said 6-12 months...[Mad]

that sounds about right, you are prob. better off to search the forums, and g.b. you will more than likley run across what you are looking for.

sounds right to me. if you talk to legal transfers (pete)...(go look on the ar15.com industry board)

he usually can get them a little faster. and his prices will be better than off the RRA site.

Wow, thanks for the heads up. He is cheaper and is quoting ~25 week (6 month) wait...

Bummer about the wait time. I ordered miscellaneous parts from them and ship-time was <2weeks.

On the bright side, you have something to look forward to.[Luck]

I ordered a UTE-2 upper from them back in May 2008, and it still isn't here. I'll be calling the bank soon to keep them from charging my card how many years down the road once they get around to it - since they won't reply to emails and they're unreachable through the phones.

Just as another data point, I emailed RRA last week to see how back ordered barrels were. The response I just got this morning was that barrels are back ordered indefinitely...

Just an update, I cancelled my order with RRA, and went with Legal Transfers. He quoted me a 25 week wait time. The only difference between ordering with him is that he is ~$30 cheaper than buying from RRA, there is no charge for shipping, BUT he requires payment up front where as you don't pay RRA until it ships (which is perfectly understandable). Reguardless, I'm happy as a tornado in a trailerpark right now. Can't wait....

Good luck, class 3 weapons would be a better choice. he has orders from nov. you could get it alot sooner then 25 weeks. only half down.

I wouldn't even dare trying to order from a manufacturer right now.

GB has everything you need, most of the time in stock.

Legal transfers moves a lot more RRA than Class 3. I put my money on pete to get him the gun faster.

If you look at class 3 guns, you will see that each gun has an ordered date on it and a number. You don't order a gun, you buy a gun that has been ordered. maybe Legal transfers does the same thing but I couldn't see that on their web.

Legal transferrs is $30 cheaper than Class 3, and they have free shipping. Thanks for posting about Class 3, I've never heard of them before.
