SCOTTSDALE, Arizona – January 6, 2014 – Haley Strategic Partners today announces it is relocating all operations from Colorado to Scottsdale, Arizona including the training unit, product development team and marketing unit, which will continue to maintain offices on the East Coast in the Philadelphia area.

Travis Haley said this on the move to Scottsdale, “Haley Strategic has grown faster than we believed possible over the past 3 years. Our move to Scottsdale puts us in the heart of a strong Defense & Aerospace manufacturing base that will allow us to form new relationships and create new opportunities for HSP moving forward. The Phoenix area is also host a number of training facilities that will allow HSP to greatly increase the scope of our Disruptive Environments training programs for Military, Law Enforcement and responsible armed citizens.”
HSP will also be opening a Showroom featuring not only HSP’s product line, but we will be offering products from our many industry partners including BCM, B5 Systems, Inforce, IWC, Glock triggers, G-CODE and more. All of these products will be available for walk-in purchase.

“2014 promises to be another year, packed to the gills with innovation and refinement of our training programs, the integration of new technologies, a continuing dialog with our student base and new product collaboration and development to improve end user performance and survivability.”

I was wondering when that was going to happen
All said not much of a surprise considering the events of last year. Guess I don't have to pay taxes now when buying their gear ;-)
Small consolation prize in the big picture though...

Sounds like a solid business plan to me. I would venture to guess that given the new "High Capacity" Magazine ban in Colorado it would be a lot harder to bring in out of state students to attend classes in Colorado.

This is yet another example of businesses voting with their feet on the new gun laws in Colorado. I am sad to see Colorado lose yet another firearms based business, but you can't blame these guys for leaving.

Fixed it for you..

I think Travis had/has family in Arizona - specifically around Scottsdale. Would make the move much easier.

Good for him. Lots of good ranges down there.

Sucks that these company's are packing up and leaving, I cant blame them. All we can do is try and vote out as many democrats as possible.

Me too. Anyone else upset that Magpul & others are leaving this soon? I mean, they pledged to help us fight this as much as possible, Magpul joined the Sheriff's law suit which is nice but now them and everyone else is just bailing. I mean, what happened to sticking around to fight for our rights the way they had started to? I mean, we had two (basically three) successful recalls of those guilty of this and are on the track to getting things back in shape come mid-terms. If all of our corporate backing pulls up stakes and bales it was all for not. I really do appreciate them standing up for us but it just seems like the time line is wrong. I mean, they've been here for so long what's another year to help see it through? I get Haley because maybe that law does affect his business (probably not really even noticeable compared to ammo prices for instance) but Magpul's sales won't be affected one way or another. They've already invested so much why not stay and help what they started?

I dunno. None of this feels like good news to me at the current time and political climate of Colorado. It doesn't give me much hope moving forward and I feel less good about or chances of changing things around if all of our support & firearm industry partners are gone. If everyone who is against these laws leaves aren't we left with those that helped to pass these laws in the first place? What have we gained?
