OK so I was unscrewing my buffer tube making sure not to loose the detent spring or detent because they are small and it sucks looking for them and I forgot about the buffer spring retaining nipple thing. And it shot up and out of the gun. I heard something hit the ceiling and the printer next to me and when I looked in the top I seen the nipple piece of the setup. But after a period of looking around I can't find the spring anywhere. I think I should just get a new one. I'm not paying for one online and then ten times what its worth to ship it and I don't want to wait. I was hoping you guys could get me a better option.

Thanks in advance.

Also, I was taking off the buffer tube plate to add a double loop sling mount plate. Not that its important but in case you were wondering.

I am sure I have some. I usually just throw them away, but I think I have a few in a parts bin at the house. Will check tonight.

You might check with machine gun tours also. They have small parts.

I used a spring out of a clicky pen once. I think I had to cut a little off but it worked well. At least for a temp fix.
