Just getting into the NFA game and trying to decide where to do my shopping. I think I'm gonna go with the octane 9 for my m&p's but I'm lost on 5.56. I know a few places that carry them but when I've been there for other things their prices were ridiculous.
Silent Precision is an Industry partner. Check them out. You have to PM him for his best prices.
One suggestion... Buying a 45ACP can will only lose you an average of 3 DB of suppression over a 9mm can, but can also be run on 40s and 45s if you ever want to.

Sent him an email this morning, we're chatting about options but wanted to see if there was anyone up here in Denver that was worth checking out. I was wondering why I was seeing a lot of .45 cans on 9's, makes sense. I've got a lot of reading to do this week.

I picked up the octane 9 and happy with it so far but I don't own anything other calibers. if I did it over again would do the 45 can.

There wasn't much I could find locally early 2013. 5280 had some I could be interested in, but was told "the suppressors don't leave the display case". Similar concept to Pelosi's quote "we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it..." kinda thing. Not interested in either.
So I used SilencerShop.com. They conveniently list what's in stock and the price. It's out of state so I had to wait for it to get transferred and shipped to CO. It took less than 3 weeks. A few weeks later, my buddy went with local JB Tactical. A tool that I use is www.gunbroker.com (http://www.gunbroker.com) advanced search for CO listings. It gives you an ideal of what's available and who is selling them.

You still need to F3 them to a FFL in CO, so?

I'm between silent precision and triple 8 at the moment. I'm thinking octane 45 so I can run 300 subs also even though I don't shoot anything but 9mm in pistols. Also thinking either the specwar or saker. Anyone want to talk me out of these? Depending on cash flow I might sbr 2 lowers as well but that may have to wait a month or so.
I've used silent precision and jb tactical.
Chris and Ryan are both great guys

Mile High Shooting sports in frederick ( exit 235) also have NFA items on hand. I Efiled last week for a YHM Cobra,45 can. Don't own a 45 or plan to. BUT between the 9mm sbr's and soon to be threaded lever 357/38 why not.
I also went through Mile High Shooting Acc. in Fredrick. Had them thread 6 rifle barrels for me so far, along with getting my S.A.S. Ti from them. Great folks to work with.
I bought my suppressor through SilencerCo and had it shipped to The Firing Line Aurora. Great guys to deal with (both companies) and my next purchase of a suppressor would be directly through Firing Line.

I've used MG tours and JJs Shootin' Shack for transfers and now I'm going to try Ark Tactical for a direct sale...
To date, buying / transferring to my local C3 has work best for me, but do contact each dealer to get a price... They are starting to be competitive...

No shit. There's almost as many NFA dealers along the front range as 7-11's.
