Looking for a name for a firearm related LLC.
I will pass the names by a few others and if your name is selected I will pay you $50 or $50 worth of ammo(your choice) for your help.
Fyi-I will most likely be adding initials or another word to the suggestions to come up with something "original"
Obamas Armory.
If anything, I'm sure it would draw publicity....After all, he's the best gun salesman of all time.

This
S corp.
I wouldn't do an LLC.
Based on the limited amount of info we have on his company not sure how you can come to that conclusion.
I'm an LLC which means that I have essentially the same protection as an S-Corp but I don't have to deal with filing shares, paperwork and the other corp BS and I still get to file as an S-Corp with the IRS.

Thanks for the above suggestions and a special thanks to the members who are giving me serious options. I won't be involved in manufacturing but I want to setup a llc in the very near future for tax reasons. I will look more into the difference between llc and S corps but with my projected revenue, I would like to keep it basic.

Talk to an accountant and a lawyer (I can provide names). It cost $50 to file for an S corp online.

You can be an LLC and not have to deal with all of the Corp stock issues and so on. The IRS does not have a category for LLC so you can register as an S-Corp with the IRS if you are an LLC.. This combo gives you less record keeping yet you still retain the tax advantage of an S-Corp.
If I did it over I would still do it the same way however I would have just created a generic LLC and run my business as a DBA. This way I could have several DBA's under one LLC.

Depending on your target market! I know some of female audience who are discouraged to go to firearm store due to the name of the store.
In any case, keep it simple.. like your family name LLC... then DBA business/division/department name as many as you want.
Why LLC over S corp? Less tax filing, you can even file it as single member filing on your own tax return.. yet still has the same benefits as s corp.
Good luck!

Thank you all for the input... I think I will be going with some family initials and "general/relaxed" words so I don't scare potential clients. Please cont to post ideas as I may need x LLC in the future to spread out the risk.
