Thoughts on this one (please don't turn this into a lock discussion)? 5-shot L frame .44 mag.

I've always preferred the feel of an L frame to the N frame, but I suspect full power loads in this new model might be painful... especially since most SA / DA revolvers send the recoil impulse straight back at you.

Still... with moderate loads like a 240 Keith boolit going 1,000 fps, I would think it would be one of those "98%" guns. Definitely enough to handle anything in this part of the Rockies.

You had to mention the lock......I won't say anything bout the damn lock.

I think it's sweet. The gun that is. Not the lock.

I also wonder about how it handles the recoil. Come to think about it, I bet the gun handles it well. Myself on the other hand??
