Streep proved she was a moonbat twit years ago when she testified before Congress on the Alar scare (don't get me going on the stupid idiot who thought an actress qualified as an expert witness for a Congressional investigation into agricultural products). I've never liked her roles anyway and her name is one that makes me pause before going to a movie. Weinstein isn't quite Michael Moore but I have to really want to see a particular movie to go to it if produced by the Weinstein Group (well, really any movie out there these days).

Let them make fools of themselves, stupid twits deserve to lose money.

It looks like hypocrisy but it's fully consistent with the goals of Liberalism. Creating a culture of violence is acceptable and necessary to demoralize the People and create the case for a police state (run by Liberal elite, of course).

But allowing the People the means to violently resist tyranny is something else even if those means are never utilized. This should never be allowed as the government must have a monopoly on violence for Liberals to succeed. Without this monopoly, those Liberal elite have no real power. As Anita Dunn quoted Mao... "Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun."

If anything these leftists are becoming more and more transparent and we're seeing they are fully consistent with their predecessors. I appreciate that.
