Shield 9mm Personal Defense Ammo do you prefer?

What's your experience with ammo (it likes/dislikes)? Thanks. Did a search and could not find what I was looking for.

My buddy likes the liberty defense a lot. Says it runs fine.

I can't speak directly to the Shield but I like Golden Saber for 9mm defensive ammo. I've seen other hollow points in that caliber over-expand going into ballistic gel and those didn't. I can't imagine the Shield having trouble with them.

I run Barnes +P in 9mm and .45ACP. Never a FTF or FTE. Burns clean and no perceptible flash.

Note: This wasn't in a Shield but it shouldn't matter.

Thanks guys, I run 147gr in my G19 wasn't sure if this would be too much for the Shield being a smaller handgun and all?

I don't have the 9mm, but I carry federal Hydra Shoks in my Shield .40

Most of my guns all get fed Critical Duty except the .357Sig becuase I have a shit-ton of Speer GDHP.
