Will do, I suppose I will head over there around 12:30. I called and asked if I needed to come early and all she said was it's first com first served. So I asked how early I should show up a few more times and all she would say was "it's first com first served."
Honestly I don't know why we cant just renew online, they already have all my info, fingerprints etc.
At lease they mail it to you now. Last time I had to go all the way back out there and wait to pick it up.
Which is why I got my permit in Jeffco(where I lease business property) rather than Adams (where I reside). Jeffco takes applications 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, no appointment necessary. Not to mention, the Jeffco sheriff's office is 10 minutes from my shop, Brighton is 30 minutes from my house.
Show up at 8 A.M. (or earlier) and sit close to where the podium is setup. It is first come first serve in the line, NOT according to the time slot you got.

They give everyone a 1pm timeslot, and only offer 40 spots.

And wait for 5 hours?! What is this Black Friday? [Rant2]
Too bad they don't have WIFI, I could just set up there and work all day while I wait.
Sounds like that county needs a new Sheriff

UPDATE,
Just got back from doing the renewal. Not bad at all, I got there at 12:30 and was the first one there, so I got to go first at 1:00. There were only about 20 people there of the allotted daily 40 by the time they had us line up. I was out of there by 1:20, so a little under an hour plus the hour it takes to get there and back. So it is doable on a lunch break, kind of.
New CCWs applications are a different story though, they told me they are usually booked 2 - 3 months out, meaning you have to wait that long to even get an appointment. They allow 40 twice per week and it takes a lot longer, so you are probably in for a several hour wait if you need a new one.

That's not a common thing in Adams. Renewals were taking about 30-40 days not long ago.

For Adams, do I need to bring a passport or birth certificate? Didn't know this. Foreign birth certificate OK here? This is new permit application BTW.
