View Full Version : Any mechanics?
Looks like I went over factory warranty by 1k miles. Needing to replace my oil pan gasket soon. Any reputable mechanics here for side jobs?

Ask the service department manager to get you a goodwill warranty repair approval. In most cases all you need to do is ask and they will get it done, especially if you have had service work performed on the vehicle with the dealership before.

Honda really stands behind their product, it should not be a problem. Just remind them that you bought a Honda because of their reputation for ultimate reliability and that Honda's are know around the world as a car that just does not leak oil, does not break down, and has a high customer satisfaction rating for a reason.

[ROFL1] With a straight face too! LOL!
ETA: All vehicles suck, not just Honda. Hell if they didn't I would be out of a job.
If you don't get a good faith repair... Which I would "save" for something bigger. Oil pan gaskets are easy, or call Tobi at TC Performance 303-907-9541. Tell him Simon sent ya
He is an ASE platinum level diagnostic technician (97-present) and master certified, platinum level, Honda technician (92-09). Over the years he has been awarded Honda “Presidents Award” five times and Honda “Top Tech” twice.

And really, Honda oil pans are pretty straight forward.
Tobi re-opened up shop in the same spot right?
Why is a 2012 Honda needing this repair?
Yeah I've known him off HAI Simon.
Don't want to risk anything myself. I have no experience besides oil changes lol. I'll talk to Honda tomorrow and we will see.

I am willing to print out the distructions... I mean instructions.
I can armchair quarterback it after the repair is done...
