View Full Version : House painting recommendations in Littleton
You guys have never steered me wrong in the past so I was wondering if you could recommend someone/a company that could do house painting in Littleton. Also, should I be looking for sprayed vs rolled. I would also need some trim replaced.
Thanks for for the advice and help.
You will get a better, thicker coat if it's brush and roll and use less paint. I would also suggest to make sure whoever does it use Benjamin Moore, it really is the best paint you can get. As far as company's go I don't have any suggestions except don't use College Pro Painters.

I agree with using Benjamin Moore paint. Having both sprayed and used a brush and roller, I prefer spraying for the body of a house. I closed my painting business7 years ago so I don't have any contacts to hook you up with. Make sure you get references and actually go look at work they have done. Guiry's sells Benjamin Moore paint and can give you the names of some painting companies. Prep work makes all the difference in how long a paint job will last.

Start washing walls with TSP.
We used Dynasty and they seem good and reasonable.
We got some painting estimates about four years ago to have our house repainted. Two estimates were around $5Kea, one was just over $8K. Long story short, I did it myself and will never pay someone to paint the house again. With all due respect to the members that paint for a living, it ain't rocket science. Do your prep work and do it well, then buy some quality brushes and get to it. Trim sucks, but $8K is a whole lot of ammo, even at todays prices.
The same company that did Kwando's house, did my last home and about 4 of my in-laws homes. I was very happy with them and they were reasonably priced.
