I've been out the last couple weekends and CJ has glared at me every time I left. Definitely gave me attitude every time I came home. Well yesterday I gave him the nod and said let's go get those geese. I found him here 1 minute later...

This is a couple hours later in the ground blind. He is looking through a 3" opening, you can hear the geese in the background and he is seeing them fly over. I cut the filming and went to blasting.

13 years and 2 months old he's still got it. Made 2 blind retrieves and a couple assists. It makes me so proud to see him work hard and love to do it. He's still resting today and his hips are a little sore.

I envy the best friend you have.

I've went through 5+ human friends and i wish I had put all that effort into a 4 legged companion instead.

They know nothing of betrayal, only 150% loyalty and they will return all if not more of the love you give them.

...... hehe... All I can see in his eyes... "daddy please make them fall from the sky so I can gets them!!!"

Give that ol'guy a big hug and pet on the belly for all of us. Glad he is enjoying all of it.
