I don't see the point of fixing a Subaru. But at least your working on a car for fun. I could be fixin' the brakes on my mustang but I have to do family things instead.
Happy Easter.
Back to work tomarrow, wife needs here car. I'm cleaned up now, ready for dinner. I could pay someone but I like to shoot ALOT!

Shit.....I have an 1986 Subaru GL wagon with 4WD, (not that shitty AWD crap they have now) with an actual transfer case. It has FWD, 4high and 4low. I've beat that effing car to hell and back for over 10 years, and it just refuses to quit.
Looks like hell, but always starts up the first time, even after sitting for a year. I love that car. I agree Subaru's are complete crap now, compared to what they were.
Check out the shifter:

We had a subaru back when I went to highschool and it went thru my 2 older brothers and the thing kept going. The clutch was out and it was rusting away but it kept starting so my brothers kept driving it. I don't remember what happened to it but I'm sure its still running. Maybe pulling a wagon on a farm in Fort Lupton somewhere?

WOW!
how did we go from "Happy Easter" to discussion about when Subaru went downhill?[ROFL1]
I just find it amusing...
at any rate, Happy Resurrection Sunday!
Happy Easter everybody!
(I have 2 Subaru's a 96' & an 07' I think they are great cars! Last Winter when everyone else was stuck, I went to Wally world & bought all of the ammo. Even went shooting.) [AR15]
I hope everyone has a safe & happy holiday.

Well, the Pikes Peak chapter of the rocky Mountain Elk Foundation had our annual "Big Game Banquet" last night. I started with setup @ 0730 and got home last night about 2200 (that's 10 PM for you civilian types).
I was so wiped out that I slept on and off (more on than off) all day. I'm glad that my kids are basically grown up now so I didn't have to feel guilty for not spending time with them.
