I have heard only good things about Black Hills Ammo and foolishly passed up a chance to buy a few cases at great prices a few months ago.
I would be looking for the 223/556, 30-06, 9mm, 45acp, 38spcl/357mag and 44mag ammo. Not all at once- thats alot of ammo! ha!
my experience with lesser quality ammo has been its dirty, unreliable in my semi's and pumps. Is it worth the premium per round?
I used to think quantity over quality, but now i am thinking when i actually have the time to shoot, i want to be accurate and enjoy the little time i have. and not deal with malfunctions related to ammo. so now its quality over quantity.

Where is the best place to buy black hills ammo? What should i expect to pay (fair prices) for 223 and 9mm?
Thanks!

BH makes excellent ammo.

I have seen it at Sportsmans in the past, but that was more than a few years ago. I dont know of any local sources that currently have some.

After a quick look on gunbot, you'll be paying about $1 a round for 5.56.

I know Green Mountain Guns carries it, not sure if it is in stock. Very nice ammo, the MK262 (5.56) is par excellence.
