I was wondering why the Feds were involved and making press conferences about it. Now I see why. $500k+, no dye packs because they got into the vault and they're being violent. Dang.

Feds are always involved in bank robberies as the banks are federally insured by FDIC.

That's quite the chunk of change.

Damn...someone really did their homework and executed a well-planned robbery. And possibly had help from someone who works, or worked, there.

Wow! That is an epic haul for a small job.

It's okay though, the Fed will just print more...

These stories always make me nervous, as my wife works at a bank. She's been at work for a few robberies, but it's usually the "note pass" for a much smaller sum of money.

What are you talking about? The Fed printed this $.5M decades ago! These guys are probably just taking back what is rightfully theirs! [facepalm]

Definitely an inside job.
This was my first thought as well.

Definitely an inside job.

Probably the teller that got the gun to the head. No one suspects the person that almost died.

It's too bad they didn't make them zero out my mortgage while they were at it. Just a write off for WF anyways

I work in that complex and watched them get away. The Jeep tore out of the lot, then ran the light at 74th. I thought that was really suspicious and sure enough, the cops were there storming the north entrance with ARs and Mossbergs ten minutes later.

Broke up the monotony at work, at least.

How do they know "they" were in their twenties when the report said they were so well disguised no one could tell their race or gender.....

Something like 70% of bank robbers get away with it. Highest rate of return on being a criminal.
