Last Day Local Hunt

4026140263The kids got 'er done again yesterday! I had low expectations for this hunt, possibly looking to get a doe or two. But God opened up the storehouses of Heaven and rained elk down upon us! The weather was amazing; heavy snow, 20ish degrees. We walked right up to a herd of about 25. First shot was about 150 yards (you can actually see the herd in the shooting picture). And with the cool hanging weather don't know when i'll get around to cutting her up.
