What size pistol barrel with 10.5" rail?

So I'm thinking about building my pistol. I have a Spike's upper and a MI 10.5 key mod rail already. If I run a 10.5 barrel with a Noveske Kx3 or Kx5 will it be partially tucked under the rail?

Very little will be under the rail. The pig itself is about 3" long. If you run a 7.5" bbl and the pig it would tucked under nicely. Also make sure that your rail isn't to skinny for the KX3.

No, but a 12" rail will make it look real nice

It won't work unless the ID of the rail is bigger then the OD of the KX3. A lot of rails won't work over a KX3 so double check. I know some Troy rails will (barely)
