They charged a friend of mine $40+ to do a receiving FFL transfer, so that is something to think about as to what they will charge for a private party transfer.

Franktown Firearms is only $20 I believe.

Open Tuesday Through Saturday: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

We offer basic transfer services for $25.00 per firearm, plus $10.00 for the background check.
(Additional fees may apply for packing and shipping on outgoing transfers etc.,
and shipments to CA incur a $10.00 surcharge for the extra processing requirements.)
We also offer Class 3 tranfers for $65.00

Thanks, I was on the site checking it out but I don't see where they say they handle private transfers. I'm assuming you guys have used them ?

I'm guessing the "basic" transfer service is or includes private party transfer, but I've not used them either so that's just a WAG on my part.

DCF might be a good spot for that. Never done transfers there, but have bought firearms and other stuff from them before. I really like place and wouldn't hesitate to do business there. $40 seems to be the going rate for a transfer anyway. I just did one a while back and I think the transfer fee was $35.

Yes I have used them and I thought for sure it was only $20 for a person to person transfer. Thought they were open on Sundays but I guess not sorry.

It's $55 I'm pretty sure it's pretty steep I'll probably only go back in a pinch. Fun place to look around but it's spendy

That includes the $10 for the BGC correct ?
When I posted $40+ I was referring to their fee + tax.

And Gander is $10 fee with tax + $10 for BGC.
