Thinking about putting a linear style comp on my 7.5" upper.

Will it noticeably change perceived blast while shooting at an indoor range?

Do they have a huge flash every time?

Yes, but if you plan on using it indoor or close quarter, it really helps w/ the concussion.

-gross understatement! A KX-3 on my 10.5 made it seem less obnoxious than a 16" with A2.

I want a linear comp for my 9mm but I can't find one anywhere. I know that 9mm does not have the gas volume for any real compensation, but the shooter perceived noise redirection would be so nice. I have a barrel that is 1/2 - 36 thread pitch and apparently nobody makes a linear comp for this. I found some places that would sell one that is not threaded and then you would have to thread it yourself, but the taps are at leas $70 and the only comps I found with this option were $100 and up. A couple nearby placed quoted me about fifty bucks to thread it. I have a 7.5 inch barrel as well.

I have a KX3 on my 7.5" and it makes a HUGE difference over any other muzzle device I've tried.

That is a sharp looking setup. Is that a mag block or a dedicated oly lower that takes those glock mags? I have a DDLES with glock small frame and it is awesome. I saw that you could order the KX3 from the factory un-threaded with the half inch diameter but everywhere I looked quoted $55 just to thread it bringing my total for a KX3 to just shy of $200. It was not worth it for me.

I ended up getting one made by "Kies" . I shot it outdoors this weekend. Muzzle flash increased with certain ammo, recoil seemed the same as the a2 fh. Blast seemed to be sent forward a bit more but again I was shooting outdoors. Curious to shoot it indoors.

Kies in left, levang on right.

Lovewolf g9 lower... DrFwd built this one, I just couldnt walk away from it after I shot a few mags. Such a fun 9mm. I actually prefer this one over my UZI.
