View Full Version : Ultimate Train Property
Shamelessly taken from another site.
I like trains but I really can't say I LIKE trains. There is some excellent "man cave" opportunities here...and only 3.5 mil.

Oh man, what great layouts.
When my daughter was young, like 4 and 5 years old, I would take her over to where a train club had leased some land in Costa Mesa and we would ride the trains. They had diesel powered, steam powered, some of which actually used coal in their fire boxes to make the steam. Very authentic and great fun with my daughter. One of the guys told me he had over $100,000 in the three steam engines he ran on the weekends.
I used to love trains as a kid. Still do, but I don't know nearly as much about them as I used to.

Awesome ... wouldn't be worth living in The Peoples' Republic of Oregon for, but still pretty cool (yeah, I know CO ain't the free state it once was, but its still better than OR).
Smaller scale, but this guy in Parker has quite the layout.
Haven't seen it running in a while, the property may have changed hands.

Watching the relator vid, I'm thinking of transporting stuff (kegs, tools...) from on building to another. Just hook up a couple of flat cars.
I see one big shooting course. Set up steel targets of train robbers, or be totally unPC and use buffalo and Indian targets.
Pretty cool! Can't believe the gov hasn't shut him down.
More pics of the property...

At least you can buy 30rd mags and not have to have a BG check just to loan out a rifle. [Flower]

No way! I drive past that place all the time. I always wondered what was behind those pre-fab concrete walls.
If you zoom out a bit there's a newer image, you can see the addition of the walls and the near obliteration of the old train circuit.
Like I said, pretty sure it changed hands.
I always coveted that property, doubt I could have afforded it. $750k.
On the other hand, too dang much traffic on that corner.
