Yea i saw that. But take a look at this. "President Barack Obama signaled Thursday he will not seek the reinstatement of a U.S. assault weapons ban..."

That doesnt mean he wouldnt sign the bill if it was on his desk, he just said he wont "seek" the bill. Maybe he wont ban "Assault Weapons", but he didnt say anything about banning the ammo for them. That would be just as bad. Obama is a very deceiving man. This is just how most politicians are unfortunately. Hes got something up his sleeve. He told us Americans that he would pull out of Iraq so people would vote for him. Yea hes pulling out of Iraq... but he didnt tell us anything about Afghanistan before he was elected.
I hope I am wrong and that the AWB doesnt get renewed, but I dont find this article comforting.

You are exactly right! He doesn't want the blood on his hands. There are plenty of others who are frothing at the mouth to get it done. Then when it gets there he has no choice but to sign it. Remember he has alot of debt to "leftous" donations to re-pay for getting him into office.[Rant1]
