I was considering putting my company logo on my pickup. If I do am I subject to DOT regs? If so what will I have to do for my truck?

My company truck isn't DOT regulated. It's a 3/4 ton. If we went to a 1 ton truck we would have some DOT rules. That's the reason we have the 3/4 tons trucks.

This would be the correct answer. DOT regulations come into effect for (IIRC) 12,500# GVW and up. Basically anything 1 ton and above.

Edit- GVW is 10,001# and above.

Doesn't cost much for your DOT #.

And we have been stopped before in our Dodge (2500 with flat bed) with our company info on it and because we had a contact # DOT man said we were good.
And he stated what BP said.

Have great ins coverage. Make sure if someone sneezes gets hurt, it's covered.

I got stopped at a "Jump Scale' outside of town while towing my work trailer (12' enclosed cargo) & was told that I needed DOT # & Company Name

The DOT# & Registration cost nothing; but the yearly DOT Inspections cost me $100/vehicle/year.

Yes. You'll want to have a commercial policy which will cost you more. People see a company on the vehicle and start seeing dollar signs when you get into an accident.
