Looking to do my first Form 1. Anyone know a good engraver in the springs to mark my trust and city, state on it?

I know there are all kinds of nifty people in denver but im pretty lazy so hopefully I can get it done in the springs

See this thread https://www.ar-15.co/threads/75119-NFA-Form-1-questions-for-a-first-timer-in-El-Paso-County

Short version: T&T Engraving. Looks like their web page is down, but I've heard that they still exist. I'm about to do another SBR and will use them again.

And if you're doing a trust, the eforms are much much faster than paper (~3 months eform versus ~11 months for paper). But you can only do an eform if it's a trust.

You can engrave now if you like. I engrave before I even form 1 in case they screw up.

When talking to T&T last year, they would not engrave a lower 80% with a serial number of my choosing. They wanted a form from the ATF with a serial number designated to be engraved. No amount of talking could convince them that me putting my own number on a lower was legal.

Roger,

Use Colorado gun writes (coloradogunwrites.com). I spoke to the owners a couple of weeks ago about serializing a 80% lower and they were willing to do it for a decent price.

Used him to engrave my AK, great guy. Set up an appointment and he did it while I waited. Looks great.

+1 for making the drive to gun writes. I did it from c springs and happy I did. He and his partner took the time to research the font my lower used to make it match. Came out great. Make the drive!
