Holy crap! If that becomes the new standard with eForms, I think the NFA will be getting a LOT busier!

I filed two on Monday and it seemed like they were having a # of glitches. First one went through ok and printed the submitted form, second one it started giving me issues when I went to submit it. The revolving circle of death went on forever. Finally it stopped and said submitted but I couldn't print the submit form PDF a it said it was unsupported or something to that effect. I did get both emails stating they were submitted. I figured I'd log off and try again on the reprint and got the same error. Sent a couple emails to their help email and the first response was "yes it's in the system". Second one the next day the fellow was very helpful and said they had never seen this particular problem before. He mentioned that all the info was there but had no idea if it could be approved due to the problem. He said after they'd bring the system back on line they would try to approve it due to the nature of the problem and the ability to use it as a learning. He also stated if it didn't go I would just have to resubmit which wasn't a big deal being it was only in a couple days at that point. I never heard any more about it yesterday after the system came back up. I did try to reprint it again last night and it still didn't work so I figured I resubmit as soon as I got the denial email. Lo and behold I got 3 emails this morning from ATF. First said denied, then seven minutes later I got duplicates saying approved with the PDF of my Form 1 with a tax stamp!

And more costlier. My CC bill arrived, What's on there for charges? US.Gov billing, nothing else. Good thing they are household expenses.
Lesson learned. Break eForms and get a 4 day turn around for "helping them find the bug".
Time to put my engineering schooling to use!
P.S. This was a joke, no black helicopters please! I won't mess with your system. I'm sorry.

Its too bad they weren't nice enough to approve all the others as well! I got 2 other Eforms and 9 snail mailed that I am waiting on as well.

You should try waiting on 3 and waiting for efile to come back for another... Never mind that I've gotten back 5 so far this year... I'm not addicted... /twitch

Yes I just won the lottery Monday. Got my paper Form 1 for an SBR returned after 9 months. Used a trust and got that and my Form 4 suppressor through without any issues.... just a long wait. And for the record, I think the ATF folks are just getting tired of looking up our numbers because I keep seeing posts where someone calls in and they get the answer "will get looked at in September" and then it actually gets approved in June. That is exactly what happened to me and I think the point is to "just not call us for a few more months."
