Time is short and don't have time to search. Did the gestapo...I mean TSA change their rules on carry on knives to anything 2" and under? Flying out tomorrow morning and wondering what I can take with me.

TIA

Ya, they tried and failed. Don't take your favorite pig sticker if you are not wanting to donate it to the TSA.

No check in luggage, only. It's easier to bring a gun on trip, than knife.

Last I heard SAKs like the cadet were ok. Check TSA.gov

Who knows maybe they changed it again.

Negative.

They abandoned the plan to allow small unscary knives. NO carry on knives permitted.

I'd caution anyone carry tactical pens that a dude in Miami was arrested for one last year.

Throw a tennis racket in your backpack (most airlines.)

Suprisingly, a 7" or less screwdriver is permitted according to the current list.

I carry a 6" Phillips screw driver and a stainless steel cased Sharpie marker along with a serious "fist-full" carabiner - no issues and I travel a lot.

What's this? Just what makes a pen "tactical" anyway? I have one but I bought it because it has a stylus tip and can use Parker or Fisher pressurized refills. You can jam someone in the eye or neck with a Cross pen as easily as my "tactical" pen ...

Dang, that's nice! I might just have to pick one up here soon. I love my Leatherman micra, but that would definitely streamline the stuff I carry with me
